Todo comenzó hace muchos años cuando me encontraba montando anillos a lo que fue mi primer motor y del que más aprendí a lo largo de diez años , hablo del Mitsubishi que por bastante tiempo fue mi principal contenido acá en hive motors.

En aquel entonces no sabía nada apurado lavar la piezas con un cepillo y una brocha, el trabajo lo veía súper complejo y ansiaba y disfrutaba desarmar cada cosas con el miedo de luego no saber dónde ponerla y sobre todo, cómo iba a saber dónde iba cada tornillo, no tenía buena organización desconocía muchos trucos o mañas que ahora sí aplicó, pero todo esto fue la clave de mi comienzo, el no saber me llevo a querer saberlo todo referente a la mecánica.

Desarmar el motor fue relativamente sencillo, comenzamos quitando el carburador , distribuidor cables de bujías, conectores y todos esos accesorios que se convierten en un estorbo a la hora de desarmar el motor. Cómo les dije desarmar fue relativamente sencillo, fue quitar cosas y guardar tornillos en recipientes para saber un poco mejor dónde iban, no tenía teléfono, no podía tomar fotos para memorizar bien cada cosas, ayudado de cinta iba marcando ciertos conectores y tuberías que tenía el carburador, fue demasiado complicado ese carburador por la cantidad de mangueras de vacío que este lleva. Fue lo peor en aquel entonces lo veía súper complejo.

As I said disassembly was relatively simple, was to remove things and keep screws in containers to know a little better where they went, I had no phone, I could not take pictures to memorize each thing well, helped tape was marking certain connectors and pipes that had the carburetor, it was too complicated that carburetor by the number of vacuum hoses that it carries. It was the worst at that time I saw it super complex.

Muy bien luego de haber sacado la tapa de cilindros o cámara de compresión por fin pude ver las cabezas de pistones, nunca había visto uno en persona pero no obstante eso había que sacarlos y para eso había que quitar el cárter de aceite, obviamente ya no había nada de aceite, pero la cuestión es que para quitar el carter quite tantas cosas que no hacía falta quitar, un trabajo de 30 minutos lo hice en 2 horas o algo así...

Lo siguiente a eso fue sacar los pistones, y lavar todo, lavar todo todo todo y dejarlo lo más limpio posible y más los pistones dejarlos como nuevos, en aquel tiempo se lavan las piezas con gasolina, decir que me picaban las manos cuando termine es poco.

El armado fue más sencillo de lo que llegue a pensar fue poner todo de nuevo en su sitio eso sí meter los pistones si me daba mucho temor de que algún aro se dañará al meter el pistón al cilindro, un golpe seco con un martillo de goma y la dentro, eso fue lo que hice y gracias a Dios funcionó, obviamente guiado por mi padre.

Acá es donde luego de tener todo listo, todo estaba bien tornillos bien ajustado ya estaba cansado, mis movimientos eran torpes tenía hambre y 12 años, una mala combinación para hacer cualquier cosa y ya solo faltaba colocar el tapa cadenas y el damper o balanceador armónico del cigüeñal

La hora de la verdad, encendimos el auto y taran, el único error que comité o eso pienso salió a la luz, minutos Luego de haber encendido el auto este empezó a sonar a que los hierros se estaba moliendo, preocupados pensé. Que había dejado mal dentro del motor.... Hubo mucha tensión, demasiada .

Decidí revisar y cuando observo el tornillo que supuestamente había apretado se salió y se atoro contra el damper causando el tan temido sonido que marcó en mi que desde allí en adelante siempre verificó una y dos veces el apriete de cada tornillo que muevo.
