Ya anteriormente había compartido con ustedes el proceso para convertir nuestro neumático en tubeless para local necesitamos bien sea el kit tubeless que cuenta con la válvula y la cinta para sellar el rin, es decir tapar los agujeros de los radios.
El proceso es el mismo montamos una cámara nro 20 en nuestro aro, en este caso un aro 27.5, esto con el fin de usar la válvula y sellar el rin de cualquier fuga por los radios.

Luego de haber echo nuevamente todo el proceso es hora de montar nuestro neumático con el gel, lo genial de este neumático es que sirve para tubeless, cómo se si mi neumático sirve para tubeless? Bueno en el caso de maxxis a un costado tiene las letras (TR) grabadas lo cual significa Tubeless ready.

Acá te voy a contar varias ventajas de tener el sistema tubeless en tu bicicleta y por qué es mejor que las cámaras de aire. Claro mi opinión.

Ventaja 1

No más pinchazos! Una de las ventajas de tener nuestros neumáticos tubeless es que este usa gel anti espiche que combinado con la dureza del neumático hacen que al momento de pinchar este se sellé inmediatamente.

Advantage 1

No more punctures! One of the advantages of having our tubeless tires is that it uses anti-spike gel that combined with the hardness of the tire makes that at the moment of puncture it seals immediately.

Ventaja 2
El mantenimiento del líquido es cada 3 meses y quizás un poco más, esto solamente consiste en volver a colocar gel antiespinche en nuestro neumático, pare devolverle las propiedades la gel que ya estaba.

Advantage 2
The maintenance of the liquid is every 3 months and maybe a little more, this only consists of putting anti-spike gel back in our tire, in order to return the properties of the gel that was already there.

Ventaja 3

Podemos rodar en PSI más bajos! A diferencia de tener una camara de aire es que podemos rodar a presiones más bajas para tener mejor agarre, también el caucho tiende a absorber mejor las irregularidades del camino dándonos una mayor seguridad en el terreno off road.

Advantage 3

We can ride at lower PSI! The difference of having an inner tube is that we can ride at lower pressures to have better grip, also the rubber tends to absorb better the irregularities of the road giving us a better safety in off road terrain.

En cuanto a las desventajas solamente pude conseguir 3 cosas malas de este sistema.

As for the disadvantages I could only get 3 things wrong with this system.

Desventaja 1

El precio del kit tubeless es algo costoso, en algunos caso sobrepasa los 30$

Disadvantage 1

Desventaja 2
Al momento de inflar. Neumático necesitaremos un compresor para poder talonar el neumático, exactamente como un neumático de carro.

Disadvantage 2

Como tercera y última desventaja creo que sería el costo adicional de los neumáticos (TR) pero claro en realidad podemos convertir en tubeless cualquier neumático, siguiendo una serie de pasos que puedes encontrar en el contenido donde hago esto con un neumático normal, y claro sin necesidad de también tener el kit tubeless solamente una cámara nro 20 y gel anti espiche
