MANTENIMIENTO A GENERADOR ELÉCTRICO
¿Las maquinas se enferman o se desgastan? es el comienzo de la explicación que doy a mis niñas, comparando nuestro cuerpo, que necesita vitaminas si se está débil o antibióticos si se está enfermo, pues bien, las maquinas necesitan mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo, si ya cumplió su ciclo de operación o si está teniendo alguna pequeña falla que corregir.

Esta planta es muy antigua, el ruido que produce cuando está funcionando es ensordecedor, pero genera buena energía, hace que sigan funcionando las cosas en la empresa, para nadie es un secreto los constantes apagones que existen en nuestro país Venezuela, quizás debido a la falta de mantenimiento preventivo o correctivo, o tal vez debido a la falta de modernización de los generadores nacionales, en fin ese no es el tema que les deseo compartir...
Esta situación actual ha obligado a los empresarios a tener sus propios generadores, por ello hacer los mantenimientos a su debido tiempo, le extiende la vida útil a estas máquinas que son sorprendentes, prácticamente parece un motor de camión fuera de carretera, recordando cuando dicen un motor fuera de borda.
La placa la fotografié, pero no entiendo mucho esta nomenclatura, por lo tanto, los datos que registro son suministrados por el mecánico a quien ayude en esta operación. Lo primero que hicimos fue tratar de desconectar la batería, pero como estaba descargada no fue necesario, luego procedimos a bañar completamente la planta con un desengrasante, así se le quito el sucio acumulado en sus años de servicio, luego se procedió a sacar los filtros, utiliza dos de aceite, dos de gasoil y uno de aire, estaban relativamente aceptables, pero se decidió colocar todos nuevos para comenzar el conteo de otro ciclo de vida útil desde cero.
Mientras trabajábamos el mecánico me contó algo de historia, el primer generador que se inventó se remonta al año 1831 por el señor Michael Faraday. El principal generador de nuestro país es la central hidroeléctrica del Guri, también me contó que hay generadores mecánicos, químicos, térmicos y solares.

Se sacó todo el aceite viejo y se le coloco nuevo, 28 litros se llevó, luego se recargo de gasoil 36 litros pero solo llenamos la tercera parte del tanque, se corrigió un pequeño bote de aceite un orín de goma estaba rota, eso quito mucho tiempo, ya que no había a disposición la medida adecuada, se buscó en los agentes autorizados y fue imposible encontrar ese orín, se improvisó uno que no dio el resultado esperado, ya que al encender la planta o generador eléctrico quedo votando una pequeña gota, aun así el dueño estaba muy contento, esta reparación quedo pendiente para cuando se encuentre el orín adecuado.

I photographed the plate, but I do not understand much this nomenclature, therefore, the data that I register are supplied by the mechanic to whom I help in this operation. The first thing we did was to try to disconnect the battery, but as it was discharged was not necessary, then we proceeded to bathe the plant completely with a degreaser, thus removing the dirt accumulated in their years of service, then proceeded to remove the filters, used two oil, two diesel and one air, were relatively acceptable, but it was decided to place all new to start counting another cycle of life from scratch.
