I know that this is something that we motorcyclists commonly do, but from this decision to trim the chain, we must take into account that the chain will continue to present problems because it does not fit on all the teeth of the sprocket generating noise, by trimming the chain we can tighten it and minimize the possibility of it slipping off the sprocket, but this accelerates its stretching or wear, so we must be aware. This is an unsafe and very dangerous condition if you ride at high speed because if the chain peels it is common for the rear wheel to brake and there are many accidents caused by this. So we must ride at low speed in my case maximum 50 k/h, I know I can run more but I want to be cautious, also in these next 45 or 60 days, time in which I can change the bearing kit, I will check and adjust the tension of the chain periodically.
