greetings everyone.

I am very excited to share about my work today with you guys, firstly, how are you all doing? I hope you all are doing good. Today i did something so amazing in my shop today, which is all about how i change an old dashboard fabric to turn it new.

Working in car dashboard is something very simple my critical that is why most of my colleagues don't like doing it because when you spoiled it, is to buy a new on for the owner and is not easy to see it and at the same time, it is very costly. I remember a day my colleague collected dashboard to repair, and he was enable to do it, he now call me to help him out and since then he refused to collect it.

I always feel so happy to collect work on dashboard because is simple and fast to do. This is something that i can finish in 3hrs.

The is much gain in working on dashboard, since it is a technician work, i charge high and it doesn't require much material , i just need gum and leather to get the work done.

This very dashboard, i choose to sew it to make it look so beautiful, since the car is for sale.

To begin

I first of all pill out the old leather on the board with the help of knife and my hand.

This is done very careful, if not you Will end up spoiling the board.

I am done removing all the old leather on the board.

After removing all the old leather, i then use a rough sand paper to sand the board. This is done just to make the surface rough, so that the new leather will gum well to the board.

After sanding it, it then use broom to swipe out the dust on the board.

Finally the board is ready to be work on, looking at it you will see the board is very neat and rough.

Here is the leather and the gum i am using for this project.

I then place the one leather on the board and then shape out the place i want to sew.

I then use my sewing to sew it . You can see picture below.

Since the leather is ready, i then apply gum on the board and also on the new leather.

I then careful gum them together has i mark it, and them make sure i straight the leather well so that it will be smooth.

Finally the board is really and the finish work look so amazing. The will beautiful will come out when the board is being fixed inside the car.
