Hola amigos, en mi publicación de ayer, les decía que mi carro presentaba una falla en el motor que le ocasionaba cierta inestabilidad, y a parte de esta falla, también tardaba para encender, mas que todo, cuando el carro permanecía varias horas en reposo, y fíjense, después que encendía lo apagaba y al volverlo a encender, encendía bien, era como si al pasar mucho tiempo en reposo, la linea de combustible se quedaba sin gasolina. Debido a esa situación, decidí hacerle la limpieza a los inyectores, así lo hice, y la verdad es que el carro mejoró notablemente en cuanto a la estabilidad del motor, pero aun persiste el problema para encender, por lo que hoy decidí revisar la bomba de gasolina.
Si amigos, hoy en la mañana decidí revisar la bomba de gasolina, e incluso, compré la bomba o pila como la suelen llamar, porque la bomba que tiene, la instalé hace dos años y pienso que lo mejor era cambiarla, aprovechando que voy a sacar todo el cuerpo de la bomba.

Bueno amigos, lo bueno es que la bomba de mi carro se puede retirar por el lado de la maleta solo hay que levantar la alfombra y allí se puede mirar la tapa, la cual costa de cuatro tornillos, al quitar dicha tapa, podemos ver la tapa superior de la propia bomba, luego retiramos el aro roscado y los conectores y se procede a extraer todo el cuerpo de las bomba.
Well, folks, the good news is that my car's fuel pump can be removed from the side of the trunk floor; you just have to lift the carpet and you'll see the cover, which is held in place by four screws. Cuando agité y sacudí el envase, pude observar que de adentro salia la gasolina de color negro, luego le agregué mas gasolina y lo agite bien para que se desprendiera el sucio interno, luego drené la gasolina y esta salió de color negro que parecía petroleo...miren esto:

Luego seguí agregándole gasolina al filtro hasta que quedó limpio, e incluso, tuve que usar un compresor para poder eliminar todos esos residuos, bueno amigos, lo ideal y recomendable es comprar un filtro nuevo, pero este tipo de filtro es difícil conseguirlo para este modelo de carro, pero quedó bastante limpio, lo bueno es que la nueva pila que le voy a montar, también posee su filtro.
Then I kept adding gasoline to the filter until it was clean, and I even had to use a compressor to remove all those residues. Well, friends, the ideal and recommended thing is to buy a new filter, but this type of filter is difficult to find for this car model. But it came out quite clean. Bueno mis amigos, después de instar nuevamente la bomba de gasolina con su nueva pila, encendí el carro y el carro ahora enciende muy bien, ahora enciende normal, como debe ser, ahora en las mañanas prende en el primer intento, de manera que el problema lo estaba ocasionando la bomba, a parte de que los filtros estaban sucios, quizás la bomba no tenia la presión adecuada, y digo que quizás, es porque no le medí la presión, porque consideré que mejor era reemplazarla porque ya tenia dos años de funcionamiento, la verdad es que tuve una buena decisión en cuanto a revisar la bomba de gasolina, y fíjense, allí estaba el problema.
Well, folks, after reinstalling the fuel pump housing with the new battery, I started the car and now it starts perfectly, as it should. Now, in the mornings, it starts right away, so the problem was the pump. Besides the filters being dirty, perhaps the pump wasn't getting enough pressure, and I say perhaps because I didn't measure the pressure, since I thought it was better to replace it, as it was two years old. The truth is, I did the right thing by checking the fuel pump, and that was the problem.
