Today I will show you how to change the engine belt of a Fortuner truck.
To begin with it is good to detail which and the type of belt the vehicle has. There we will realize that the xorrreeas carry a coding that will depend on the type of car and its model.
In the case of the Fortuner, it has a single belt, and it is identified as 7PK2120, this is placed according to the position that covers the 6 channels that have the pulleys.
The first thing to do is to let the engine cool down, if the vehicle has been used.
Afterwards, the following tools should be at hand:
A rache
An extension
Dies of measures 12mm, 14mm and 17mm
Once the car is cold, we begin to disassemble the lower part of the car, removing the engine protection.
Then we locate the tensioner and with the rache we exert pressure until it loosens the belt and we begin to remove it from the pulleys. In this step we begin to remove it by where the alternator pulley is located.
Then we pass the belt through the blades of the engine and ready, we have removed the belt.
Now we check the belt to put and we initiate the process of placing the same one...
We pass the new belt by the blades of the engine, we fit in position with the canes of the belt and the pulleys, until taking it to the last pulley of the alternator, there we exert price on the tensioner and we place in the pulley the belt... Ready we have put the new belt.
To finish we place the lower cover of protection of the engine and we have finished with the replacement of the belt of the engine of the Fortuner.

Hoy les mostrar茅 como se cambia la correa del motor de una camioneta Fortuner.
Para empezar es bueno detallar cual y el tipo de correa lleva el veh铆culo. All铆 nos daremos cuenta que las xorrreeas llevan una codificaci贸n que va ha depender del tipo de carro y su modelo.
En el caso de la Fortuner, lleva una correa 煤nica, y tiene por identificaci贸n 7PK2120, esta se coloca de acorde a la posici贸n que cubra los 6 canales que tienen las poleas.
Lo primero que hay que hacer en dejar que el motor enfr铆e, en el caso que se haya utilizado el veh铆culo.
Posteriormente se tiene a la mano las siguientes herramientas:
Un rache
Una extensi贸n
Dados de medidas 12mm, 14mm y 17mm
Ya con el carro en fr铆o, comenzamos a desarmar la parte inferior del carro, quitando la protecci贸n del motor.
Luego ubicamos el tensor y con el rache ejercemos presi贸n hasta que afloje la correa y comenzamos a quitarla de las poleas. En este paso iniciamos a quitarla por donde se ubica la polea del alternador.
Ya luego pasamos la correa por las aspas del motor y listo, hemos quitado la correa.
Ahora revisamos la correa a poner e iniciamos el proceso de colocaci贸n de la misma...
Pasamos la correa nueva por las aspas de motor, calzamos en posici贸n con los canes de la correa y las poleas, hasta llevarla a la 煤ltima polea del alternador, all铆 ejercemos precio sobre el tensor y colocamos en la polea la correa... Listo hemos puesto la correa nueva.
Para finalizar colocamos la tapa inferior de protecci贸n del motor y hemos terminado con la sustituci贸n de la correa del motor de la Fortuner.
