Sustitución de la bomba de presión de aceite a Blazer año 97 [ESP-E...

Saludos amigos de hivemotors espero que estén de lujo 😁.

Recuerdan que unas publicaciones anteriores, les mencioné algunas reparaciones a una camioneta Blazer año 97. Bueno!, ésta fue la última que se le realizó, la sustitución de bomba de presión de aceite.

Se hizo necesario ésta sustitución debido a la siguiente FALLA:

Al encender la camioneta, el reloj de presión de aceite ubicado en el tablero, pasaban algunos minutos la presión de aceite bajaba al mínimo y prendía la luz de check gages (Comprobar los calibradores), seguidamente se apagaba la camioneta.

Debido a esta falla, se decidió desmontar la bomba de aceite, pero antes de hacer esto se realizaron varias pruebas, se reemplazo el aceite y el filtro. Sin embargo, después de esto la falla se presentaba a los 10 minutos de estar encendida, luego bajaba la presión de aceite nuevamente 😰.

Al ver que persistió la falla, la tapa válvula se retiró, volviendo a prender el motor, notando que el fluido de aceite no llegaban a los martillos del motor, decidimos reemplazar la bomba de aceite. Para esto se desinstalo la caja de cambios para poder retirar el carter por completo, ya que en este modelo de carro el carter es de aluminio y grande, por lo que el espacio es muy limitado.

Luego se quitó el cárter, pero no se encontró muchos residuos dentro como para llegar a la conclusión que tapaba el fluido de aceite. Luego se desinstalo la bomba de aceite y se destapó. Aquí se pudo observar el desgaste que tenía internamente en los engranajes, ya que estaba rayada.

Antes de instalar la bomba nueva, se purgo (para no dejar espacios vacíos y salga de inmediato el aceite, esto se hace manualmente dentro de un envase con aceite girando la pieza donde encaja el lápiz del distribuidor). Al carter se le hizo mantenimiento, luego de realizar esto se instaló nuevamente el carter y la caja de cambio.

Se le colocó el aceite al motor y antes de encender se desconecto el cable de la bobina para que la bomba de aceite fluyera y llegara a todo el sistema del motor, pasando el suiche (sin encender) hasta observar que el aceite lubricara los taquetes y martillos del motor.

Esta es la parte más satisfactoria, pues al encender la presión del aceite marcó normal, no le quedó ruido ni a las bielas ni al cigüeñal. Se hizo a tiempo la corrección 👏👏.

Es bueno tener presente, en el caso de estar dañado este indicador en el tablero es importante instalar el reloj de presión de aceite para prevenir daños, porque ese medidor está diseñado para identificar cuando no hay presión de aceite.

Amigos que interesante saber estos detalles, por lo general se descuidan los avisos que dan los carros.

Remember that some previous publications, I mentioned some repairs to a Blazer truck year 97. Well, this was the last one that was made, the replacement of oil pressure pump.

This replacement was necessary due to the following FAILURE:

When the truck was turned on, the oil pressure clock located on the dashboard, after a few minutes the oil pressure dropped to the minimum and the check gages light came on (check the gauges), then the truck was turned off.

Due to this failure, it was decided to disassemble the oil pump, but before doing this, several tests were performed, the oil and filter were replaced. However, after this, the failure occurred after 10 minutes of being on, then the oil pressure dropped again 😰.

Seeing that the failure persisted, the valve cover was removed, restarting the engine, noting that the oil fluid did not reach the engine hammers, we decided to replace the oil pump. For this we uninstalled the gearbox to remove the crankcase completely, as in this model of car the crankcase is aluminum and large, so the space is very limited.

Then the crankcase was removed, but not much debris was found inside to conclude that it was clogging the oil fluid. The oil pump was then uninstalled and uncovered. Here it was possible to observe the wear it had internally in the gears, since it was scratched.

Before installing the new pump, it was purged (so as not to leave empty spaces and the oil comes out immediately, this is done manually inside a container with oil by turning the piece where the distributor pencil fits). The crankcase was serviced, after which the crankcase and gearbox were reinstalled.

The engine was filled with oil and before starting the engine, the coil cable was disconnected so that the oil pump would flow and reach the entire engine system, passing the oil pump (without starting the engine) until the oil lubricated the engine plugs and hammers.

This is the most satisfactory part, because at start up the oil pressure read normal, there was no noise left on either the connecting rods or the crankshaft. The correction was made in time 👏👏.

It is good to keep in mind, in the case of being damaged this indicator on the dash it is important to install the oil pressure clock to prevent damage, because that gauge is designed to identify when there is no oil pressure.
