where we talk about our tools.
It seems simple and at the same time it is so complicated to talk about our tools and is that for all trade tools are the complement of our body, they are our main partners and helpers a person can have a lot of knowledge but if you do not have the right tools the process and the end result are compromised.
Imagine for example a baker with an order of 3000 loaves a day and without having a kneading machine, a doctor without his stethoscope, an administrator without his books of income and expenses in short in any profession or trade the tools are part of our work and facilitate our way of solving the work.
As for me, I was born, raised and trained in a mechanical workshop since I was a child, identifying the dimensions of the wrenches, looking for a specific tool or working with it was not a problem, tools are part of my daily life both at work and after work.
In my family's workshop I was specialized in heavy machinery for earth moving and the most common tools were of large size, we had a box of hexagon sockets that was stolen that went up to 5", I have wrenches as we call them here, I have rache and 1" quadrant torque wrenches.
I have tools such as asparagus and industrial drills that are used to rectify the chassis of tracked tractors because with the vibration always break screws, among these thread rectifiers I have some of measure 7/8".
I have many tools that I do not document here because I did not reach to go to the warehouse where they are stored, among them there is a mechanical injector tester, I have 2 leg extractors of more than 1".
With me I carry my tool box that facilitates my work as a mechanic, I have my mechanical jack to lift the cars, I have a donkey to rest them in the air, in the glove compartment of my car I always carry an 8mm die screwdriver and a battery of gasoline just in case.
I also have a specialized tool that here we call helicopter and serves to replace the valve rubbers of the combustion chamber and some others that help us to take the timing of distribution of some engines that I have made according to the need.
And well to conclude there are the tools that I have at home that usually are to solve any failure that arises in any appliance or something but also serve me to play and teach my children of mechanics, there is always a cart to repair at the end of the afternoon,
And we have others that lost the battle hahaha makes me doubt my experience as a mechanic hahaha.
I believe that the tools are an extension of our body and as mechanics we must get the best of the benefits, we must also instruct us much in the life of the same, because if we go to companies that work with ISO standards always require a history of use and also require replacement over time.

Queridos amigos nos vemos una vez mas por aquí espero se encuentren todos bien y con ánimos de leer mi entrada en el concurso de
Perece sencillo y a la vez es tan complicado hablar de nuestras herramientas y es que para todo oficio las herramientas son el complemento de nuestro cuerpo, son nuestros principales socios y ayudantes una persona puede tener muchos conocimientos pero si no tiene las herramientas adecuadas el proceso y el resultado final se comprometen.
Imaginen por ejemplo a un panadero con un pedido de 3000 panes al día y sin tener una amasadora, a un doctor sin su estetoscopio, un administrador sin sus libros de ingresos y egresos en fin en toda profesión u oficio las herramientas hacen parte de nuestras labores y facilitan nuestra manera de resolver el trabajo.
Por mi parte nací, me crié y me forme en un taller mecánico desde muy niño el identificar las medidas de las llaves el buscar una herramienta especifica o trabajar con ella no fue problema, las herramientas forman parte de mi día a día tanto en el trabajo como después de él.
En el taller de mi familia era especializado en maquinaria pesada para movimientos de tierra y las herramientas más comunes eran de gran tamaño teníamos una caja de dados hexagonales que nos robaron que llegaba hasta la medida de 5”, tengo llaves de pico como aquí les llamamos, tengo rache y torquimetros de cuadrantes de 1”.
Tengo herramientas como los espárragos y taladros industriales que sirve para rectificar los chasis de los tractores de oruga ya que con la vibración siempre parten tornillos, entre esos rectificadores de rosca tengo unos de medida 7/8”.
Tengo muchas herramientas que no documento por aquí ya que no alcance a ir al depósito donde están almacenadas entre ellas hay un probador de inyectores mecánicos, tengo extractores de 2 patas de más 1”.
Conmigo cargo mi caja de herramientas que me facilita mis labores de mecánico tengo mi gato mecánico para levantar los autos, tengo un burro para reposarlos en el aire, en la guantera de mi carro siempre cargo un destornillador de dado 8mm y una pila de gasolina por si a las moscas.
Tengo también una herramienta especializada que aquí le llamamos helicóptero y sirve para reemplazar las gomas de las válvulas de la cámara de combustión algunas otras que nos facilitan la toma del tiempo de distribución de algunos motores que he fabricado según ha sido la necesidad.
Y bueno para concluir están las herramientas que tengo en casa que por lo general son para solventar cualquier fallita que se presente en algún electrodoméstico o algo pero que también me sirven para jugar y enseñarles a mis hijos de la mecánica, siempre hay un carrito que reparar al final de la tarde,
Y tenemos otros que perdieron la batalla jajaja hace dudar de mi experiencia como mecánico jajaja.
Considero que las herramientas son una extensión de nuestro cuerpo y como mecánicos debemos sacarle el mejor de los provechos, también debemos instruirnos mucho en la vida útil de las mismas, ya que si salimos a empresas que trabajen con normativas ISO siempre requieren de un historial de uso y también requieren reemplazo con el tiempo.
