This weekend we are going to the beach. We wanted to go from Saturday to Monday, but for reasons beyond our control we had to move up the trip. We will stay from Friday to Sunday.
This short period will be revitalizing and necessary to charge the body and mind with good energies.
We are going to a beach that we love, where we have always had a great time and is one of our favorite places. In that, all 3 of us agree.
Since I knew we were going, I immediately thought it would be an opportunity to collect some rocks that I could use to decorate. Turning pieces of that beautiful place into "rocks of goodness" through art is going to be very rewarding. And even more, to share them with you thanks to 's initiative.
Also, and I ask Mipiano's permission to appropriate his wonderful idea, I will bring some small rocks to leave scattered in some places.
These were part of an aquarium my daughter had some time ago. Following my purpose of bringing colors to people in this month of April, I painted them in the colors of the rainbow.
They total 38 colorful and cheerful rocks. I painted them with acrylics without toxic components, so there is no danger to the environment. 😏
My purpose is to leave them in different places. Some on the sand, far from where the sea level rises so they won't be dragged into the water. Others in crowded places, in the hope that someone will pick them up and take with them a souvenir full of good vibes.
I think it will be the children who will find and treasure these colorful rocks. I hope they will be like my daughter was, who collected anything she found on her way (screws, stones, pieces of tiles, crystals, little flowers, lizards, beetles). 🤣
How they are small and colorful they look like chocolates with candy coating 😆. To prevent someone from trying to eat them I painted some details on each of them.
It gets tricky decorating tiny surfaces (without acrylic paint markers 🤣) and especially against the clock 🥴. The sudden early date set me racing to finish them.
I'll let you know on my return how the experience went. Hopefully I can see when someone finds and saves some of my rocks.
Happy weekend to all.
