I started blogging about Splinterlands in October 2021 and enjoyed it a lot, but except of the Splinterlands Discord channel I did not find any interesting tribe on the Hive. But when OneUp came my way I got excited and joined the Discord channel right away.
The people here are fun and friendly, there are a lot of information and channels about crypto games. They also have their own front end : 1up.zone.This was the first but not the last such channel I discovered in my short Crypto life, but definitely the best one. And then I saw the sign. A new player entered the game and I was already in the room.

Welcome to the CARTEL

It is always the same story. Well dressed men walk towards you and they say to each other something like...

With my newbie eyes, I looked around in the room and looked for something I can hold onto.

I saw established hivers, who already put something on the table. As I post for Splinterlands, the name of Flauwy or the Monster-Curator was not new to me. Others far more respected then me joined and I saw a vibrating community around me. I was listening in on big plans and excited just overflow me. I was hoping for their approval. They had the background, the know how, the assets and some amazing tools to do the job. But they also needed my support and I felt the world just opened up for me. Will I join?

The Meat

So what does the Cartel do:

Invests in Crypto game assets and accounts. Supports quality players to live out their potential, always looking for new talent. But all those assets come for a price of course. The Cartel asks for it's cut!

With the support of its members the organization can also have a heavy purse to invest early in these games. Be with us, or be late.

"Curation is king" that is the motto of the game. With a huge variety of ever expanding manual curation services, they got your posts covered. Getting a !1UP is like Christmas, New Year and Eastern on the same day. On top of the curations rewards you know that your content is worthy of the Cartel Curators. And you want to be on the good side of the Cartel.

And what is the Cartel for me?

A group of like minded, enthusiastic, action takers, who are friendly, help each other and have a great vision. The Cartel tries to provide quality gaming content for everyone on Hive, support game developers and the best players alike. Everything is allowed, what is Crypto gaming. The amount of creativity from Flauwy, Japex1226 or the StickUpBoys and many others just make my day, every day.
