Lost Relics on the Enjin Blockchain is a fun game with the ability to earn items by defeating monsters inside dungeons. One of the warnings given before starting an 'Adventure' is that it must be completed to keep the items gained, the other options to leave the adventure are to abandon the adventure or use a scroll to teleport out and if the monsters prove too much and cause character death all items gained are lost. Well I tried to do an adventure that was too much and I lost all my starting gear, just a bow and sword, now my character is unarmed and I had to do runs of the beginning adventure to get some gold and buy more weapons.

I was hesitant at first but if there's a will there is a way! I entered with only my fists to attack the enemies and gather gold.

The venture was successful and gathering keys to open chests full of gold encouraged me to keep dungeoning.

Now that I had found gold I had to get to the exit but the monsters began appearing in groups!

After a few more groups of monsters It felt like I was almost at the end and I was beginning to worry because my health was getting low and the energy bar for heavy attacks was almost empty.
Don't Panic!
After taking a few more hits I finally found the exit and made my way towards the market to purchase my new weapon.

Lots of options but I had to be careful, if I bought an item that was TOO powerful I wouldn't be able to use it in lower level adventures and it would be a paper weight in my stash while I worked for another item. Eventually though I decided on a sword, since I now have a better idea of how melee combat works this might be a better option.

Whoosh! I was finally equipped and now better prepared against those pesky monsters.
I think I'll just do simple runs of the dungeon until I get more geared to advance towards the next adventure. I am glad the option is available to collect ingame gold and buy 'Virtual' items without having to spend anything other than time, I am enjoying finding games on the Blockchain and I hope you found my tale of re-arming myself using only my arms entertaining!
