They recently released the Beta Packs filled with new crops and crafting mechanics that will enrich the experience.
I bought a total of 685 packs and ended up opening about 110 of them for a total of 330 cards. I kept the rest of the packs to boost my holding rewards.
Let me show you some of the goods that came with my pack openings.
For spring, I am missing eggplants.
I wish I had gotten some sunflowers for the summer.
It may look like I am missing corn, but they haven't been airdropped to players yet. My autumn collection is complete.
Of all the things I miss, I don't have leek. Go figure.
But, nothing beats not getting any tree seeds through my openings.
One of the main differences between Alpha and Beta packs is the amount of land you could acquire. It may look like you won't have enough land to cultivate your crops at first. It's worth noting that many new crops have short harvest cycles. So, it is possible to use your land multiple times through a season.
In this edition of , players will be able to cook items if they have the recipes. I got a good number of them, but unsure if I could utilize all of them.
Not having french fries bothers me somewhat.
I am missing several recipes here. By this point, it should be evident that the menu has a heavy vegetarian focus. It's unsurprising because you can't get meat when you only raise crops on your farm.
Last but not least, I have a samosa recipe.
Cooking requires different equipment. These come in the forms of blueprints which players will use raw materials in their possession to assemble appliances and whatnot.
As you can see, I'm missing a good chunk of the blueprints available. I'm not too concerned. Unless you have everything, there's a good chance you could find yourself having a recipe and missing the equipment, and vice versa.
What's the plan going forward?
I have thought about buying more Beta packs near the end of the year. I'm not in a rush because there are still over 260K packs left for sale at the time of this writing.
I might eat my words if they sell out throughout Q4.
Come play . It's not much, but it's honest work.
