AMA Breakdown
Question: There's is no mention of any type of auction market in the whitepaper, is there a plan for that as well?
Answer: The auction is something that we are planning which is a future update on top of the marketplace which will be implemented first.
Question: Under Frictionless Play to Earn, it is mentioned that players are able to earn $IGS and NFT without having to create a wallet. How confident is the team in securing those accounts from getting hacked? In the scenario whereby a user account is hacked, the hacker will be able to transfer every asset out so is there any lock mechanism in place to prevent this?
Answer: User(s) will have to go through a KYC process for their account and 2FA will be required to transfer asset(s).
Question: What is the team plan currently regarding reaching out on social media? There are competitors that are working on similar features like DeFi Land who are on Solona as well.
Answer: I don't think DeFi Land is a good comparison. We are currently the only one who is building something of this scale on discord. Right now we are onboarding full-time social media staff including community managers and marketing specialists as well.
Question: In the event of Solona network going down, what is the team contingency plan?
Answer: We are working on our platform to support multi-chain. We may through the use of wormhole service to port over the token to another or set up a side chain. It's currently a work in progress.
Question: How our current pets from tatsu are going to integrate with the game. if any. Or do we just leave them in the pocket dimension?
Answer: In the future, we are planning to give more utility to pets. If you guys have any utility, you can propose it on the DAO.
Question: how the game is going to be played/activated. Is it going to be a command in discord like t!tg walk or do we use the button feature or how
Answer: We are trying to make the discord version as close to the mobile version as possible. So we want to cut down the number of commands required but you can navigate using the buttons. For the advanced user(s) on discord, we will be offering commands but those who aren't really into commands can play the game using buttons.
Question: Do we get to keep our fishing inventory and stats or is fishing v2 a completely different feature? (Also how will it work if you can emphasize that.. in terms of.. do we need to idle the meeko in-game or will we be able to issue commands like now).
Answer: We are taking both an active and idle approach. If you want to actively do the activities like fishing, you can. If you are not around you can enable an AFK/idle mode. You will have a set amount of AFK/idle timer given per day. We are thinking that for the idle mode you will have lesser control so the active mode will have better rewards. If you want more AFK time, you can use $MLKN to buy more.
Question: Will our pets have to fight?
Answer: No, your pet(s) is supposed to stay home and look pretty. Depending on what people want in the future, pets may provide combat buff or special effects.
Question: Why our pet does not have gender? Will there be breeding in the game? Pet contest to see who is the sexiest or prettiest !?
Answer: No breeding or gender. You as the player can decide the gender for your pet and characters as well. We do have periodic pet decoration contests, right now we had already 1 official pet competition where people actually won special prizes.
Question: On the P2E side would you bake in P2E mechanics that will benefit bigger guilds? (Management systems/ loaning of meekos)
Answer: No, you will not be able to rent out your character(s) but you can craft item(s)/equipment(s) and rent it out, certain resources can only be gathered by guilds. We understand the needs that big management needs, you will be able to mass rent out equipment(s). We are in talks with Merit Circle and YGG to understand what they are looking out for.
Question: Will meeko be friendly for people that solo play and have no guilds/friends?
Answer: Yes, you can definitely play it on your own. There are benefits when you play with friends & guild, but we are also planning to implement a lobby system or auto-matching.
Question: what is the stand or view on people running 100s of multi boxed accounts
Answer: Ban, we don't want people to bot. We have lots of ways to find out who is botting. We have been running Tatsu for 5 years, botting is a huge problem, so over the years, we have implemented ways to find out who is a bad actor. To trade in the market, there's a need for KYC.
Question: what about the marriage system? Is it actually going to be a thing?
Answer: Yes there will be a marriage system.
Question: If we buy an NFT with USD do we still need a wallet. And if so is the NFT only tied to our discord. Cause that seems dangerous seeing ad discord accounts get banned a lot.
Answer: If you are buying the NFT using fiat, it will be tied to a virtual wallet that is linked to your discord account. If you are planning to transfer and sell your NFT on a secondary market, you will need one.
Question: Are there currently any plans for Gen 2 NFTs? If there is, what benefits will the OG NFTs have over G2? if not may the team perhaps explain the rationale behind this?
Answer: No, we currently do not have any plans to generate Gen 2 NFTs. We want to put full focus on Tatsumeeko.
