Weekly Oneup Rising Star Post - Week 11

I am the Account Manager for the Rising Star Game Account of the Oneup-Cartel, so this post is about my weekly progress on playing the game! The Oneup-Cartel is a very active gaming community on the Hive blockchain. 😄

How are you doing?

I had 4 days of migraines and it always sucks, cause I can barely do anything. I hope it´s better soon. Everything took 4 times as long as it normally takes. That´s why my post is so late. Well anyways. Here we go with week 11 of playing the cartel´s account. 😊

Rising Star is a P2E game on the Hive blockchain where you start as a lowly busker and work your way up to stardom. You can either invest money in to to speed up your progress - by buying cardpacks or cards from the ingame market - or also start playing without any investing any money. That´s what I really like about the game, that everyone has a chance to play and can make great progress. Not only the people who can invest money in it.

This game might not seem to be complicated at first glance, but it has alot of tactical elements to it, which - I can see that in the community - most people don´t really have a clue about. But to maximize your earnings (and I think the ROI of the game is really good), you need to understand and play these tactics.

Last week I made a summary of all previous posts and of the basic gameplay. This is basically all you need to know/do to earn quite good with the game.

Further functions are just addons, no "important" things. 😉 But let´s talk about STARPRO this week.

STARPRO

Starpro is the second currency in the game and the price quite exploded the last months. 😃
It was about 2 Hive per STARPRO but right now it´s around 10 Hive per STARPRO. That´s crazy. So using STARPRO functions in the game now could be quite expensive.

But let´s just talk about how to get STARPRO first.

Of course you can just buy it from the market. But there is another way to get them. There is a function in the game called Music Promoter.

As I don´t use it very often, it is not easy to explain. 😄 But in general you could say, you load up your Starbits into this Music Promoter Pool here, and then you can bet on certain missions. (You can see these in the left of the picture).
If you are the "Highest Bidder" in the moment this mission is completed by any player in the game, you get a percentage of the STARPRO Pool of this day. Starbits which you used to bid on the missions get burned. So it´s like exchanging Starbits to STARPRO basically.
If it is cheaper than buying from the market, I cannot say, as I barely use this feature.

Wagginston came in and basically buys millions of Starbits to burn them for STARPRO since a few months. So it´s hard to stand a chance to get any really... From 100 STARPRO which are given out daily he got more than 68 yesterday. That´s what´s making this whole STARPRO thing a little bit unattractive for me to use. Because one guy basically controls the market. I just don´t like these kinds of things at all. But well, whales are everywhere and it´s not possible to stop this.

There are a few functions in the game which you can only use if you pay STARPRO. I tried out the functions. But right now, I am not sure if it´s really worth it. With 1 STARPRO beeing 10 Hive. I need to calculate this, but I doubt it to be honest.
But still, I will explain these features in the game in the next post.

Second week of playing the account

Level reached: 40

Leaderboard Ranking: 1701

Highest Mission: Stage 2, Mission 4 (Record A Demo)

I finally made it to level 40 and unlocked the next mission! That took a long time...

Apart from that, there is and won´t be much to tell the next weeks, as I am still saving up all my earned Starbits to be able to get the millionairs card soon.

So I won´t buy any packs nor other cards.
