Last season was really difficult for me. In order to reach the Diamond league, I had to exhaust almost all of my energy bars. Unlike in previous seasons where I could easily reach 2800+. Is this because I rented a different deck than usual? Or is it because it's nearing the end of the season, so many players also want to race to the higher leagues?
I made it to the Diamond League with 9 minutes left and 1 Energy left.
The first part of this post will be about SHARE YOUR BATTLE, be it CARD FOCUS or RULESET FOCUS or just a battle I find interesting enough to share. After that, we'll move on to the GIVEAWAY section. There are changes to the GIVEAWAYS that are different from the usual (you can see them in full after the SHARE YOUR BATTLE section) |

End of Season Rewards
The rewards for the end of last season that I got were very satisfying. Although there were no legendary cards, but I at least got other cards that can be leveled-up. Helios Matriach, the Dragon Summoner from Soulbound reward card was previously still at level 3. But with the addition of 13 cards (WOW), I was able to increase it to level 4. Meanwhile, Franz Ruffmane who became the last Soulbound Summoner that was still at level 1, has now risen to level 2 after receiving an additional 8 cards. And with this, all the Summoners from the Soulbound reward cards I got are all at the maximum level for the Bronze league. And Helios Matriach became the second Summoner after Lobb Lowland who was at level 4 (the maximum level for Silver League)
In addition to the cards, I also got so many Merits that I was able to buy 2 Gladius case at once (after adding the Merits I had before).
Lets Start the Battles
This is the deciding match, whether I will continue to the Diamond League or drop in rank and still be in the Gold League
The ruleset for this battle was TIS BUT SCRATCHES, EARTHQUAKE, and ODD ONES OUT. I decided to use Dragon Summoner because most of the monsters there must have the FLYING ability. And my choice went to Quix the Devious (because this was the only Summoner I got when I rented the Deck).
In this battle, I again relied on the MARTYR + RESURRECT strategy but with different cards in the RESURRECT user. If previously I relied on River Hellondale to use RESURRECT, this time I used Adelade Brightwing which also has FLYING and REPAIR abilities. For MARTYR, I still rely on Venari Marksrat which is a NEUTRAL CARD (can be used in various elements, but cannot be used in the TAKING SIDES ruleset).
The opponent also used the same strategy. The opponent knew that Venari Marksrat didn't have FLYING ability and took advantage of it when he was defeated. But because the opponent is using Lily Shieldpaw, the attacks of all my monsters can only be focused on the monster in the first position even without TAUNT. So in order for Venari Marksrat to be defeated, they only rely on EARTHQUAKE.
The cards that will receive the effect of MARTYR on my side are Leginnaire Alvar and Void Dragon, while on my opponent's side are Uriel the Purifier and Gargoya Devil.
My side's Venari Marksrat lost first due to the effect of EARTHQUAKE (but before that, he was hit by Lone Boatman in the first round). The effect of MARTYR gave additional STATS to Legionnaire Alvar and Void Dragon.
This picture also shows that Uriel the Purifier now has few health points. This is because of the CAMOUFLAGE which makes all monsters other than the first position seem "invisible ", even Uraeus who should attack the monster in the last position (SNEAK ability) is attacking Uriel the Purifier.
Uriel the Purifier was defeated by Void Dragon, War Pegasus, and Legionnaire Alvar.
But it was successfully resurrected by Adelade Brightwing.
The Venari Marksrat on my side fell again, but this time it was due to an attack from the Lone Boatman. Legionnaire Alvar and Void Dragon got another STATS boost.
Despite being revived, Uriel the Purifier fell thanks to an attack from Adelade Brightwing who was on my side (Previously Uriel the Purifier received an attack from Uraeus although it only partially damaged ARMOR)

What is the Upvote Budget that you mentioned earlier?
