Me encanta la comunidad de PixelArt, no solo por los concursos, sino porque me divierte de forma sincera el revisar los post de otras personas, ver su habilidad, ver su evolución y él como usando diversas aplicaciones cada uno desarrolla este arte de manera diferente, es realmente gratificante.
El Pixel Art para mí es como un jardín zen, y cuando lo hago a modo hobbie, realmente me relaja mucho. Esta semana el tema fue magia, y decidí participar para soltar un poco las tensiones con un tema divertido, y también porque quiero que mi creación, forme parte de lo que para mí es una prestigiosa colección de arte, de todos quienes participamos en la comunidad.
Además aunque estoy lejos de artistas de nivel como la misma 
I love the PixelArt community, not only for the contests, also because I sincerely enjoy reviewing other people's posts, seeing their skills, seeing their evolution and how using different applications everyone develops this art in a different way, it's really satisfying.
Pixel Art for me is like a zen garden, and when I do it as a hobby, it really relaxes me a lot. This week the theme was magic, and I decided to participate in order to release a little tension with a fun theme, and also to make my creation part of what for me is a prestigious collection of art, from all of us who participate in the community.

Esto comenzó con un boceto dibujado sobre la base de varias imágenes que vi en internet, tenía demasiadas ideas en la cabeza, pero me decidí por crear algo que es un símbolo de magia universal, un mago con su sombrero y su varita.
El siguiente paso una vez que se tiene el boceto, es llevarlo a Photoshop y prepararme para crear. Comencé por el sombrero, porque tenía la idea de que al crear la primera parte podría simplemente duplicarla para hacerlo simétrico, y con esto el trabajo se iba a facilitar.
This started with a sketch drawn on the basis of various images I saw on the internet, I had too many ideas in my head, but I decided to create something that is a symbol of magic for all, a magician with his hat and wand.
The next step once I have the sketch, is bringing it to Photoshop and getting ready to create. I started with the hat, because I got the idea of creating the first part, I could simply duplicate it to make it symmetrical, and with this the work was going to be easier.
Luego, lo siguiente era completar el resto de partes del diseño, los brazos del mago, la varita, e ir separando por capas para trabajar más cómodo.
Then, the next thing was to complete the rest of the parts of the design, the wizard's arms, the wand, and to separate them by layers to work more comfortably.
Ya en esta etapa estaba bastante contento en realidad, y lo siguiente era seleccionar los colores e ir rellenando, y delineando las figuras para que comenzara a tener vida. Ya aquí entre en esa etapa que muchas veces me ataca, en la cual decidir si vale la pena continuar con el trabajo o borrar todo y comenzar de nuevo, y esta vez dije que valía la pena dedicarle tiempo y continuar con mi obra.
Already at this stage I was quite happy in reality, and the next thing was to select the colors and fill in, and delineate the figures so that they would begin to have life. Here I entered that stage that often attacks me, in which I decided whether it was worth continuing with the work or erasing everything and starting over, and this time I said that it was worth dedicating time and continuing with my work.
Unos pocos colores, y comenzó la siguiente etapa que para algunos es la más aburrida aunque para mi es colocarle la guinda al pastel.
Decidí practicar una técnica llamada dithering, para fondear mi imagen y darle un poco más de vida, hacerla más atractiva. Es la primera vez que hago dithering y debo decir que estoy bastante contento con el resultado que obtuve.
Luego de fondear mi imagen decidí crear unos destellos en forma de chispas, y decir la palabra mágica para sellar mi obra, y una vez terminado esto, y agregado un poco de animación básica, Alakazam! se hizo la magia del Pixel art
A few colors, and the next stage began which for some is the most boring although for me it is to put the cherry on the cake.
I decided to practice a technique called dithering, to consolidate my image and give it a little more life, make it more attractive. It's the first time I've done dithering and I must say I'm quite happy with the result I got.
After doing the background of my image I decided to create some sparks, and say the magic word to seal my work, and once this was finished, and I added some basic animation, Alakazam! the magic of Pixel art was done
