Greetings everyone! this is my first post in this community and I'm really excited. today I share with you a reflection on the value of giving, giving the best of us without expecting anything in return.
Many times we find ourselves on the road, opportunities to lend a hand to someone in need, it can be someone very close to us, a family member, a friend, or a stranger, in short I think we will always have the opportunity to do something good for someone.
In the path of life not everyone is grateful, in fact many people to whom we have reached out cause us wounds and those wounds disappoint us, I have always found ungrateful people in very bad taste, the truth is I have never understood them.
But what is it that drives us to do good to others?
I don't think it is to be repaid, or to get some benefit, because really the best reward we can receive is to have been able to help someone with a problem, the satisfaction of knowing that you were useful to someone who needed it.
I think that as it has happened to many I have felt indignant and not valued at all by those people who have not been grateful, it has been hard for me to understand and I think I will never understand such people who somehow have not valued the effort, time and even sacrifices that one has made for them, but who cares, that's life, and I think, life is very short, quoting a text from the Bible, certainly life is like mist, which appears for a little while and then fades away. And I start to meditate, why waste our energy or let ourselves be carried away by bitterness, because this or that person did not value what I did, it is really a waste of time.
In fact sometimes some people thank you with a smile and we do not see it because we are expecting something else, but it should not be like that, I tell myself, and I tell you, do not expect anything from anyone, it is better that way, if they return the favor in some way, fine, but if not, kindness is something that comes from the heart, and if it is really kindness, do not expect a reward for it, because it is something genuine that comes from a heart full of love and compassion towards others.
There is a very common saying that goes, do good without looking at whom, and although it sounds trite it is very true, only great people, generous hearts can give, without expecting anything in return, even to those who at some point have caused us wounds.
- Giving without waiting: it enlarges the soul.
- Giving without waiting: is to love.
- Giving without waiting: is to make a difference and to inspire others.
- Giving without waiting: is happiness, that's right, I have experienced it.
To quote the Bible again, (since it is my book of inspiration) and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, it is more blessed to give than to receive.
So if I have done something praiseworthy in favor of another, that is what matters, and that is how I want to lead my life, to be happy to help those who need it, because I am convinced that there is nothing more beautiful in life than to be useful to others, that satisfies the soul and the spirit.
To live life means to live also in favor of others, often leaving aside our own interests.
And let us always try not to disclose our good works.

Saludos a todos! esta es mi primera publicación en esta comunidad y realmente estoy muy emocionada. hoy comparto con ustedes una reflexión sobre el valor de dar, el de dar lo mejor de nosotros sin esperar nada a cambio.🤗
Muchas veces nos encontramos en el camino, oportunidades para tender una mano a quien lo necesite, puede ser a alguien muy cercano a nosotros, un familiar, una amigo, o un desconocido, en fin creo que siempre vamos a tener la oportunidad de hacer algo bueno por alguien.
En el camino de la vida no todos son agradecidos, de hecho muchas personas a las que le hemos tendido la mano nos causan heridas y esas heridas nos decepcionan , siempre me ha parecido de muy mal gusto la gente desagradecida, la verdad nunca las he entendido.
¿Pero, qué es lo que nos impulsa a hacer bien al prójimo?
No creo que sea para que nos lo devuelvan, o para sacar algún provecho, ya que realmente la mejor recompensa que podemos recibir, es, el haber podido ayudar a alguien con un problema, la satisfacción de saber que le fuiste útil a alguien que lo necesitaba.
Creo que como le ha pasado a muchos me he sentido indignada y nada valorada por aquellas personas que no han sido agradecidas, me ha costado entender y creo que nunca entenderé a tales personas que de alguna manera no han valorado, el esfuerzo, el tiempo y hasta sacrificios que uno ha hecho por ellos, pero que más da, así es la vida, y pienso, la vida es muy corta, citando un texto de la Biblia, ciertamente la vida es como neblina, que se aparece por un poco de tiempo y luego se desvanece. Y me pongo a meditar para que malgastar nuestra energía o dejarnos llevar por amarguras, porque tal o cual persona no valoró lo que hice, es realmente una pérdida de tiempo.
De hecho a veces algunas personas te agradecen con una sonrisa y no lo vemos porque estamos esperando algo más, pero no debe ser así, me digo a mí misma, y te digo a ti, no esperes nada de nadie, es mejor así, si te devuelve de alguna manera el favor, bien, pero sino también, la bondad es algo que sale del corazón, y si de verdad es bondad, no se espera premio por eso, porque es algo genuino que sale de un corazón lleno de amor y compasión hacia otros.
Hay un dicho muy común que dice, haz el bién sin mirar a quién, y aunque suene trillado es muy cierto, solo las grandes personas, los corazones generosos pueden dar, sin esperar nada a cambio, aún a aquel que en algún momento nos han causado heridas.
- Dar sin esperar: engrandece el alma.
- Dar sin esperar: es amar.
- Dar sin esperar: es marcar la diferencia y ser de inspiración a otros.
- Dar sin esperar: es felicidad, así es, lo he experimentado.
Citando nuevamente la Biblia, (ya que es mi libro de inspiración) y recordar las palabras del Señor Jesús, más bienaventurado es dar que recibir.
Así que si he hecho algo loable en favor de otro, eso es lo que importa, y así quiero llevar mi vida, estar contenta con ayudar a quién lo necesite, porque estoy convencida que no hay nada más hermoso en la vida que el ser util para los demás, eso satisface el alma y el espíritu.
Vivir la vida significa, vivir también en favor de otros dejando muchas veces a un lado intereses propios.
Y tratemos siempre de no divulgar nuestras buenas obras.
