Passionate.

Passion.
Personally I feel that this is one of the most misunderstood word.

Are you passionate about anything? an interesting question right.

I hear some people say they are passionate about a particular skill or job or you know something something. But just because of one minor challange or the other, they stop doing that.

You can't tell me you are passionate about modelling but simply because you have to loose some weight to fit in properly you don't want to do it anymore. Please don't get me wrong I'm not saying you must be at a certain weight before you can be a model or am body shaming anyone. No, not at all, I'm just giving an instance.

I once heard someone saying that she has a passion for teaching, but she just won't do it because some people are slow in understanding and it's frustrating. Yes I know how frustrating it can get after you have tried to explain something to someone for a countless times, but come on,do you even know what passion is? Well I would tell you,passion makes what others feel it's too difficult simple. After work everyday my colleagues always complain of being tired because of the stress from customers (I work in a place where you deal with over 50 people with 2hrs). But I dont feel all of that because I enjoy the work, I just enjoy dealing with people.

Let's talk about writing. I'm a writer, a very passionate one at that.
But believe me when i say it's not a bed of roses.

Am I a writer? Yes
Do I enjoy writing? Yes
Do I experience writer block? Yes
Does it come often? Yes
Do I make a fortune from writing? No
But do I want to stop writing? No

At times, I feel like I have written it all, i feel like I have exhausted all the ideas, I feel like there is nothing left to be written. Those moments, I don't even want to remember I am a writer.

But never have i ever thought of stoping writing, lol even if I think of it, i can't do it because it's a part of me. No one thought me how to write, I don't know when i started writing, but I just feel like it's a part of me and has been there since I can recall.

Now, what still make me open up my note app or pick up my jotter and pen even after i thought i have exhusted it all. What makes it possible for me to feel happy while writing, what makes me to keep on attempting even when I feel my drafts are not making sense untill I come up with something meaningful. That is the passion I'm talking about.

Passion just naturally keeps you going and gives you the strength to fight even when you feel you can't.

Passion and sacrifices work hand in hand, because when you are passionate about something,you will be willing to sacrifice some certain weaknesses or flaws in order to keep pushing ahead.

Now let me repeat my question again.
