Today, this love language seems to be old school, yes, but for me, it's worth more than all the things in this material world. I am happy to be one of the old school high school sweethearts. Those days when everything was just so pure. I don't want to make things sound so extravagant, but yes, we started as schoolmates and then classmates. Our strings just connected invisibly and unexpectedly. He's such a romantic guy. I remember I was just in our classroom writing my name innocently in a scratched folder and didn't have an idea that he kept it. The day he asked me to be his girlfriend, it's the same piece he used in this long paper cylinder where he wrote the question with my name in the cap.
He courted me for a year. Even before we're still not officially in a relationship, he would send me letters especially when he'd be absent from the class. He's gonna have it sent through human delivery via his friend, our classmate HAHAHAHA. He would stay up late at night watching some YouTube tutorial videos in making these cute handmade letters. He's always on the letters-with-surprises type. It's not what you think it is when you open the box; it's more beautiful than what I usually expect, way better than those in the tutorial videos.
I'd ask how did he make the letters and he'd say he's starting with measurements. I just love and appreciate how he put in effort, from cutting and pasting stuff, as well as writing long messages. Well, I know it's more than that.
One with the cutest story is that one time I got home having two boxes he gave me. I had them in my bag and still didn't have any idea what was in them. The moment I got home, I opened them immediately and it turned out that the other box was full of sweets. However, I cannot open the other one because it has a padlock and I don't even know where the key is.
