Hello guys, hope we are all having an amazing day today life has changed so much over the decade, It is quite astonishing how different things used to be, one of them being the reduction in human interactions.
Social media is a beautiful gift but it has come with its own downside. Truth be told social media and the Internet has changed a lot of lives, giving so many people access to things and places they could only have dreamt of but needless to say it brought its own down side.
We spend so much time online that we almost forget how to relate with people its like our powers of observation, empathy is lost, we tend to be less comfortable when in direct contact with people but feel more confident when conversations are online.
Took my usual evening stroll some days ago and sat at the park bench and i decided to just observe people walking by, some kids playing by the trees and some birds chipping away.
Then i saw a lady who seemed to have stumbled and feel and for almost 10 minutes whilst she struggled to gain control of her hurting ankle nobody seemed to have noticed her.
After a little while i ran towards her to help her up and find out if i could be of help to her and what i saw was the loveliest of smiles as if i had performed a miracle and it downed on me that my presence there meant more to her than any medication she would be receiving.
Let's all try our best to show kindness and a little bit of love as we live our lives each day
