Debo admitir que desconocía el término “gerontofobia” el cual permite describir el miedo a envejecer, un miedo que quizá es justificado a llegar al final de la vida, pero que definitivamente no es una sentencia de muerte inmediata, es sólo un proceso.
Envejecer, al contrario, debe ser visto como cambios que al ser no aplazables, cambios que deben ser llevado de la mejor forma posible, con la sintonía perfecta en el Cosmos de Dios y de nuestro universo.
Porque en el proceso de envejecer, lo importante es vivir de una manera en la cual busquemos contrarrestar los efectos propios de crecer, entonces tenemos que tomar la mejor disposición al paso del tiempo.
Además si nos da miedo a envejecer, si sentimos a veces que inevitablemente cambiamos, siempre debemos guardar en nuestro interior a ese niño o esa niña que fuimos, esa conexión nos permitirá poder sonreír de las cosas que suceden e incluso reír de nosotros mismos, sumándole más vida a nuestra vida.

Todo el mundo es libre, cada quien puede vivir plenamente y de la forma que mejor le parezca para vencer el miedo a envejecer.
Estoy segura que la mejor apuesta es ser libres, llevar puesto lo que queramos, hacer lo que nos haga sentir mejor, amar y reír. Todo es más lindo en compañía, pero aun en soledad podemos abrir las puertas a amar cuantas veces sea necesario.
Justamente hoy que estoy sumando un año más a mis días, quise analizar ese miedo que antes tuve de tener mi edad ahora, es paradójico y cómico porque ahora siento que estoy todavía enrumbada a crecer más.
Crecer siempre será un lindo camino, que dura mientras tenemos vida, sin duda lo que si debemos hacer el cerrar ciclos, vivir, amar y reír plenamente.
