Oh boy... where to begin.. Guess an introduction first would be ideal.. so here goes.
I am a 33 year old Canadian. A loving father and husband. I am about a month in on this whole crypto thing for posting and getting rewarded. Guess it was curiosity and an attempt to escape reality.
I started working at the ripe old age of 13. Helping a family friends catering business off and on. Dropped out of school due to being bullied for being different than the rest of them.
I have been diagnosed (family doctor) as having ADHD and Severe Social Anxiety disorder though I know there is more there than that.
I believe I suffer from Depression, Anxiety, Mild Spectrum Autism (just to name a few).
It is often times very hard to find reasons to smile and be happy when I can't seem to function like a proper adult.
I am hoping that by being in this community, it will help with shedding some light on everything, either from sharing how I feel as a way to vent, or reading what other's go through.
Life has thrown curveballs at my family for years and I am hoping we get a break or even a breather so we can pick up pieces and rebuild.
Recently, my wife and I found out that our youngest (3 year old) daughter has Focal Epilepsy. Which threw our world upside down. What made it worse aside from the unknown and her not being able to speak 3hrs after the episode (she couldnt sing her "Daddy is the best song or Mommy is the best), is that she has episodes when she sleeps. So we constantly have to check on her throughout the night.
The shining light through that madness is that her smile and her personality lights up the entire room, even the house. The way she pants our backs and hugs us, saying everything is ok melts our hearts and reassures us that everything WILL be ok.
Okay.. no more sad and mushy stuff. Onto the topic of Self Love. I honestly have never given myself any self love, so I wouldnt know where to start or how to start. So I guess this post isnt about the monthly topic, but more of an intro into my mind or my life if you will.
If you read this far, thank you. I know its a boring post, but it is greatly appreciated.
Hope to post more and be active more on this community
