This is my entry for the Qurator’s Photo Quest | Opposites.
Hello Qurator friends,
I really enjoy photography challenges like Qurator’s Photo Quest | Opposites, so this time I decided to take a chance and participate.
I always go hiking with my dog, Kora. I live in a place surrounded by mountains, and ever since she was very little, we’ve been climbing one in particular together. She always beats me to the top!
I was lucky to capture this backlit photo of her, where the light sky of the afternoon contrasts with her silhouette blending into the edge of the mountain. To me, it fits perfectly with this week’s theme or at least I hope so!
I hope you enjoy it. And I encourage everyone to take your pets and your cameras outside.

Me encantan los retos fotográficos como el Qurator’s Photo Quest | Opposites, así que esta vez decidí arriesgarme y participar.
Siempre salgo a caminar con mi mascota, Kora. Vivo en un lugar rodeado de montañas, y desde que ella era muy pequeña solemos escalar una en particular. Ella siempre me gana y llega primero a la cima.
Tuve la suerte de capturar esta foto a contraluz, donde se puede apreciar el cielo claro al atardecer y la silueta de Kora, mi perra, que se funde con los bordes de la montaña formando una sola imagen. Sentí que encajaba perfectamente con el reto de esta semana… espero no estar equivocado.
Espero que sea de su agrado.
Y les animo a que siempre saquen a pasear a sus mascotas… ¡y también sus cámaras!
Siempre hay una oportunidad para capturar momentos hermosos.
