Qurator's Art Walk! | Tin Foil Sculptures | Art Competition

Hello art lovers 🙏 . I like this community here we learn some new things and get ideas about different art possibilities. The theme foil sculpture is new for me. but since learning to use the foil I tried to make some food packing boxes or some nice packing bags. now making sculpture is a kind of challenge for me. here is the first of my tin foil art sculptures in this competition. so I tried a few small things and finally decided to make a Turtle.

here is my foil-sculpture turtle.

here is the material I used:
Foil, Scissors, glue gun, a spoon, and some sticks

I cut the foil into several pieces to roll into small balls.

Tried to put them together to find out how many balls I need

I made around 18 balls and put them together using the glue to hold them in the shape i wanted

I used one bowl to press them together to create a rounded top.

The balls glued an oval shape it was like this.

I made a long string of foil to bind the shape and to look nice on the sides of the turtle. I glued and used a spoon to press.

Now the shape looks like I made a tail. to make divisions in between the shell sections I used small strings of foil but I forgot to take a photo here.

After fixing small pieces of foil to finish the shells I glued the head on.
