Yesterday I went out to do an errand and passed through a park called El Parque de los Novios and I found myself with a pleasant surprise.
I went in because I saw a large lagoon and there were some rowing boats that they rent and it is a park to spend a different day in, bring food and rest lying on its beautiful grass. When I suddenly heard the honking of a goose, I knew right away that it was a goose because in my house when I was a teenager we had several types of birds and the goose was one of them.
Immediately I went with my imagination to my house at that time where I listened to the turkeys with their blu blu blu blu and the geese with their honking. I immediately went looking for them to take photos and I thought I would find 1 or 2 but I found about 20 geese eating grass, some of them eating grass and others swimming inside the lagoon.
I remember that my father sent them to build a pool out of cement and filled it with water so that they could swim and they would spend all day there. I like geese very much because they are upright with their long necks and look like swans and you only see them glide from one side to the other on the water.
I remember when I ran after them wanting to catch them but they never let themselves, they are very shy and attack hard with their beaks. Do you know that I never asked what kind of animal is a goose until today? Well yes, that happens and I discover that it is a bird.
IM such a fool !!! I did see the movie Flay Away Home several times, where the girl raises the geese that didn't have a mother and she herself makes a kind of mother goose bird to help them migrate as it is her nature to do. Of course they were geese and fly birds.
Well, it was a nice apprenticeship and it was nice to transport myself to my childhood adolescence when I saw these great animals.
This is my entry for the community contest in their #quratorsphotoquest contest with the theme of the week Bird.
