What is Line Photography it can be summed up in two ways, it creates a mood change and leads your eyes down that non-ending path, leaving it to your imagination. Keeping the viewer's attention focused on them leading lines is what creates them emotional mood changes, if the composition and frame of the photo is correctly captured. I have always love line photography in the way the leading lines pave a path for your eyes to follow through different elements of a photo taking you to depth or the main subject.
I have always liked the simple composition of leading lines, like railway tracks these you can start from the bottom of the frame and guiding the viewers eyes upward and inward taking you to that non-ending path and depth.
You can use simply compositions or a little more complex composition but it all depends how the photography assembles them leading lines in the frame keeping in mind that if you have that frame in a way that you viewers eyes are following them paths from upward to inward to that depth or to that non-ending path keeping the viewers moods and interest going and you will have succeeded.
Skyscrapers and high rise Condominiums are the perfect example of the more complex yet defined composition of leading lines usually my favorite to photograph because they have more of a aesthetically pleasing look.
What I love about line photography is how some photographers create that form were the viewer feels he can reach in and touch the person or object, that all becomes possible when you create that depth in a photo.
These last few leading line photos were taken around and in my home was just messing around experimenting and having a bit of fun, I will leave it to you people to guess what objects they maybe some are dead give. I will say away but all in good fun 😊
