When we talk about nature the first image that crosses our mind is Green. And when we talk about Green, then #nature comes first thing in mind. Green is natures color.
Ever since I shifted to my native home, I am obsessed with color Green. There is hardly any other color exist, except in case you are wearing different shades of clothing. The abundance of greenery all round the place make it a kind of green land. Green is the color of nature, life, and the environment, evoking feelings of balance, harmony, and tranquility. And my region is predominantly high with Green color. Be it tree - filled with green leaves, the farming fields - abundant with green crops or the open fields - which has green layer of grass.
The scale of abundance of Green is so much that even a concrete wall is not left behind, and during the rainy days it appears green with #mosses covering most of the area. Mosses form a lush, thick covering on surfaces, creating a soft, carpet like texture that resembles #velvet.
The term "velvet" describes the velvety appearance formed by clusters of mosses and algae that thrive in moist, humid conditions during the rainy season. These are another gift of nature that makes most of the places Greener. The combination of their color and soft, dense growth gives them a velvet like appearance and feel.
The amazing things about mosses is that, they do not have a sophisticated system of roots, stems, and leaves to transport water and nutrients, instead absorbing them directly from the air and environment. Mosses are inherently green due to the presence of chlorophyll, which helps them perform photosynthesis.
Although they do not survive long. Once Sun comes out they get dry and dormant. They appear more lively during rainy season. Adding another touch of green in my surrounding.
Not leaving behind my farming fields, which has abundant of crops adding more to greenery sighting. This is my entry to this week Photo quest competition by
In good faith - Peace!!
