End-of-print failures are the worst. I worked on a 0.5kg print of a 40cm tall Warhammer figure (printed in two parts) and at about 80% some smaller supports broke. Luckily I was near and could intervene. I fired up a 3D pen and drew some bridges where the support was. I had to do this 2 more times as the supports were quite weak at the top. But the end results were great. I only had to attach life-savers to the main model once, the others could work with other support elements.
It was a really stressful week with a total of 110 hours of printing and about an hour of interventions.
