Hace poco, aquí en argentina, se hizo la marcha por el día de la visibilidad lésbica. Estuve en la casa de mi prima y aproveché que ella iba a asistir junto a su grupo de batucada, para hacerle un lindo maquillaje representativo para la ocasión. espero les guste!

Estuve pensando bastante sobré qué información compartirles sobre este tema, pero estoy seguro de no ser el indicado para hacerlo. considero que este tipo de temas tan importantes, se debe escuchar con la voz de las personas que protagonizan esta gran lucha por justicia. Por lo que prefiero limitarme a hablar sobre el maquillaje.
mi prima, junto a su hermoso grupo de batucada, son grandes militantes de los derechos humanos, y no pierden oportunidad para manifestarse y que sus mensajes sean escuchados a través de la voz de sus tambores.

I believe that these types of important issues should be heard with the voice of the people who are the protagonists of this great fight for justice. So I prefer to limit myself to talking about makeup.
My cousin, along with her beautiful batucada group, are great human rights activists, and they don't miss an opportunity to demonstrate and have their messages heard through the voice of their drums.
En ese dia tan conmemorativo, le propuse realizarle un maquillaje representativo y le pareció una muy linda idea.
Estuvimos pensando entre los dos sobre el diseño. Lo primero que se me vino a la cabeza, fue utilizar los colores de la bandera del orgullo lgbtiq+, pero si bien, esta bandera incluye con amplitud a toda la comunidad diversa, este día era mas especifico, y claro que ellas también tienen sus propios colores emblemático.
De modo que, luego de tener estos colores y el diseño, mas o menos, pensado en mi cabeza, comenzamos con el maquillaje.
On that very commemorative day, I proposed to do a representative makeup and it seemed like a very nice idea.We were thinking between the two of us about the design. The first thing that came to mind was to use the colors of the lgbtiq+ pride flag, but although this flag broadly includes the entire diverse community, this day was more specific, and of course they also have their own iconic colors.
So, after having these colors and the design, more or less, figured out in my head, we started with the makeup.
Antes de iniciar, como siempre, lavamos bien el rostro, limpiamos con un algodón y agua micelar y luego hidratamos perfectamente con una crema humectante para cuidad la piel del cutis antes de aplicar los productos cosméticos.
Y ahora si, con el rostro preparado, comenzamos.
Comencé aplicando una base liquida de un tono bien claro sobre sus parpados superiores e inferiores, arrastrando el producto hacia sus cienes y subiendo por los extremos exteriores de su frente, para que los colores aplicados posteriormente, resaltasen mas.
apliqué este producto con una esponjita para un acabado mas uniforme.
Before starting, as always, we wash our face well, clean with a cotton pad and micellar water and then perfectly hydrate with a moisturizing cream to care for the skin before applying cosmetic products.And now yes, with our faces prepared, we begin.
I started by applying a very light liquid foundation on her upper and lower eyelids, dragging the product towards her hundreds and up to the outer corners of her forehead, so that the colors applied later would stand out more.
I applied this product with a sponge for a more uniform finish.
Al buscar la bandera del orgullo lésbico, encontré dos casi iguales, con la diferencia de que una de ellas, tiene dos franjas mas que la otra, pero siguiendo la gama en tonalidades de los colores. por lo que decidí utilizar la bandera de 5 franjas y esfuminar los colores entre si para ampliar la gama.
Comencé desde los extremos interiores de sus ojos aplicando maquillaje acuarelable de color ladrillo, pero al aplicar el segundo color, me di cuenta que no se esfuminaban muy bien entre si como esperaba. por lo que decidí simplemente utilizar sombras de ojos.
El primer color (el tono ladrillo), lo apliqué con una brocha plana para marcar un corte recto sobre sus lagrimales y extenderlos un poco mas hacia el centro de su rostro, por sobre los costados de la nariz, y desde ahí, esfuminar el color hacia arriba.
When looking for the lesbian pride flag, I found two almost the same, with the difference that one of them has two more stripes than the other, but following the range of color tones. so I decided to use the 5-stripes flag and blend the colors together to broaden the range.I started from the inner corners of her eyes applying brick-colored watercolor makeup, but when applying the second color, I realized that they did not blend as well with each other as I expected. so I decided to just use eyeshadow.
The first color (the brick tone), I applied it with a flat brush to make a straight cut on her tear ducts and extend them a little more towards the center of her face, over the sides of the nose, and from there, blend the color upwards.
Seguido al color ladrillo, agregue el segundo color, que es un naranja mas claro, de un tono durazno.
Esfuminé la union entre ambos para que no se distinga un corte bruco entre ambos, y extendí el tono durazno hasta casi el centro del ojo. para continuar con el color blanco.
Con este tercer color, primero utilice el pigmento acuarelable y lo apliqué solo en el centro para resaltar mejor, ya que el maquillaje acuarelable es mucho mas pigmentado y no quería que el blanco se perdiera con el tono de la base que usé al principio. luego, por encima de esto, apliqué la sombra del mismo color y la extendí hacia los costados para poder esfuminarla con los colores continuos.
A continuación aplique, con la misma metodología, el tono rosado liliáceo, pero esta vez, saliéndome de los parpados y extendiéndolo hacia arriba por encima de las cejas. continué aplicando el ultimo color de tono purpura rojizo y lo extendí sobre los extremos exteriores de la frente hasta llegar a la linea del comienzo del cabello.
Following the brick color, add the second color, which is a lighter, peachy orange.I blended the junction between the two so that there is no sharp cut between the two, and I extended the peach tone almost to the center of the eye. to continue with the color white.
With this third color, I used the watercolor pigment first and applied it only in the center to highlight better, since watercolor makeup is much more pigmented and I didn't want the white to be lost with the base tone that I used at the beginning. then, on top of this, I applied the shadow of the same color and extended it towards the sides to be able to blend it with the continuous colors.
Then apply, with the same methodology, the lilac pink tone, but this time, leaving the eyelids and extending it upwards above the eyebrows. I continued applying the last reddish purple color and spread it over the outer ends of the forehead until I reached the hairline.
Una vez finalizados los ojos. me pareció que le faltaba algo, pues quería hacerle un maquillaje mas artístico para que llamara aun mas la atención.
Asique se me ocurrió dibujarle algunas escamas sobre el centro de su frente y por debajo de sus parpados inferiores (los cuales también maquillé con los colores de la bandera, recreando el patrón de los parpados superiores, pero de manera inversa).
Rellené las escamas con pigmento acuarelable blanco y luego sombreé un pedazo de cada una con los diferentes tonos que utilicé para el maquillaje.
Para finalizar, delineé sus ojos con una linea fina para que no opaque demasiado el trabajo finalizado. y listo! así quedó el resultado final.
Once the eyes are finished. It seemed to me that something was missing, because I wanted to do a more artistic make-up to attract even more attention.So it occurred to me to draw some scales on the center of her forehead and below her lower eyelids (which I also made up with the colors of the flag, recreating the pattern of the upper eyelids, but in reverse).
I filled the flakes with white watercolor pigment and then shaded a piece of each one with the different shades I used for the makeup.
To finish, I outlined her eyes with a fine line so that it doesn't overshadow the finished work too much. and ready! This is how the final result was.
Cuando finalicé con mi prima, justó llegó su novia del trabajo. Quedó encantada con el maquillaje y como ella también iba a asistir a la marcha, quise que tambien llevara algo representativo hecho por mi.
Como contaban con muy poco tiempo antes de salir, decidí hacerle algo rápido y que mi prima, que ya estaba lista, me sacara algunas pocas fotos del proceso para agregarlas a este post como un bonus.
Y así quedó este pequeño detalle a las apuradas.
When I finished with my cousin, her girlfriend from work just arrived. She was delighted with the makeup and since she was also going to attend the march, I wanted her to also wear something representative made by me.Since they had very little time before leaving, I decided to do something quick and that my cousin, who was already ready, would take a few photos of the process to add to this post as a bonus.
And so this little detail was left in a hurry.
