I have created this makeup inspired by the movie "corpse bride" by the incredible Tim Burton. I hope you like it!
Me considero un gran fan de este gran y gótico universo cinematográfico de Tim Burton, por este motivo he decidido crear este maquillaje inspirado en una de mis peliculas preferidas.
Comencé haciendo una cobertura de cejas (no tengo los materiales necesarios para hacer una cobertura super prolija, pero hice lo que pude). Luego dividí mi rostro en dos mutades, y en la mitad derecha pigmenté una base de color ivory, y luego apliqué base en polvo para darle una sutileza de color a la piel muy muy suave.
I consider myself a big fan of this great and gothic film universe of Tim Burton, for this reason I have decided to create this makeup inspired by one of my favorite movies.I started by doing brow coverage (I don't have the supplies to make super neat coverage, but I did what I could). Then I divided my face into two mutations, and in the right half I pigmented an ivory color base, and then I applied powder foundation to give a subtle color to the very very smooth skin.
Pinté con blanco mi parpado inferior y superior para dar la ilusión de un ojo bastante mas grande. Pronuncié todo el contorno de éste con negro y luego esfuminé marron oscuro en toda la cuenca, estirando el ahumando hasta mi ceja y por debajo del ojo, pronunciando las ojeras. Apliqué mas negro esfumado por encima del marrón para oscurecerlo aún mas.
I painted my upper and lower eyelids white to give the illusion of a much larger eye. I pronounced all the contour of it with black and then I faded dark brown in the entire basin, stretching the smoke up to my eyebrow and below the eye, pronouncing the dark circles. I applied more faded black on top of the brown to make it even darker.
Continué maquillando todos los contornos de mi rostro. Para ello escogí una brocha gorda y apliqué color marron. Tambien perfilé mi nariz para hacerla mas fina y agrandé un poco mi orificio nasal.
Victor tiene una mandíbula super super refinada hacia el mentón, por lo cuál intenté dar ese efecto sombreando de forma diagonal, mi mandíbula. Tambien agregué un poco de negro a esta sombra para que sea aún mas pronunciada.
I continued to make up all the contours of my face. For this I chose a broad brush and applied brown color. I also outlined my nose to make it thinner and made my nostril a little bigger.Victor has a super super refined jaw towards the chin, so I tried to give that effect by shading my jaw diagonally. I also added a bit of black to this shade to make it even more pronounced.
Por último, pigmenté mis labios mezclando varios colores como rosa, marron y morado, oscureciendo los bordes. Tambien los hice mas delgados para acemejarlos mas a los de victor.
Dibuje una ceja gruesa, larga y curbada a la mitad de la altura de mi frende. Di unos toques finales y quedó lista la media cara de victor.
Lastly, I pigmented my lips by mixing various colors like pink, brown and purple, darkening the edges. I also made them thinner to more closely match Victor's.Draw a thick, long, curved eyebrow at the middle of the height of my brow. I put a few finishing touches and Victor's half face was ready.
Para la media cara de Emily, maquille una base en color celeste azulado. Para luego repetir el mismo proceso del ojo de Víctor, pero esta vez, las sombras irían entre los coloros, azul, violeta y tambien algo de negro suave para oscurecer un poco mas.
For Emily's half face, make up a base in a blue-blue color. To then repeat the same process of Victor's eye, but this time, the shadows would go between the colors, blue, violet and also some soft black to darken a little more.
Remarqué el contorno del ojo con negro y dibuje varias pestañas inferiores utilizando un delineador liquido.
Luego dibuje una ceja igual de alargada y curva pero mas refinada que la de victor. Tambien a la altura de la mitad de mi frente.
I highlighted the contour of the eye with black and drew several lower lashes using a liquid eyeliner.Then draw an eyebrow just as long and curved but more refined than Victor's. Also at the height of the middle of my forehead.
Para los contornos del rostro, combiné azul, morado y negro.
El mentón de Emily es mas redondeado, por lo cual, la sombra en esta sección es menos pronunciada y no tan diagonal como la de Víctor.
Su nariz es esquelética, asique su sombreado tambien es diferente y su oridicio nazal es mas pronunciada o oscura.
Para sus labios gruesos y carnosos, mezclé rojo, naranja y una pizca de marrón. Remarqué todo su contorno con sombra para aparentar mas relieve.
For the contours of the face, I combined blue, purple and black.Emily's chin is more rounded, so the shadow in this section is less pronounced and not as diagonal as Victor's.
His nose is skeletal, so his shading is also different and his nostril is more pronounced or darker.
For her full, full lips, I mixed red, orange, and a hint of brown. I highlighted all its contour with shadow to appear more relief.
Para finalizar con Emily, dibujé en mi mejilla, su tan característica grieta. Maquillando un agujero que deja ver algunos de sus dientes. Rellené con el fondo, pinté los dientes con color ivory y apliqué sombra en todo el contorno de la rajadura. Y listo! Así concluyó este maquillaje que me llevó mas tiempo del que creía haha. Espero les guste.
To finish with Emily, I drew on my cheek, her so characteristic crack. Making up a hole that reveals some of his teeth. I filled in with the background, painted the teeth with ivory color and applied shadow around the contour of the crack. And ready! Thus ended this makeup that took me longer than I thought haha. I hope you like it.
