Hello, Make Up Power friends!
Today I want to show you the pictures of a make up I did recently. It's a glam rock style make up.
The golden age of glam rock took place between the 70's and 80's. The singers didn't just want to do a musical performance on stage, they wanted to offer the full experience of set design, lights, make-up that represented their divine, rebellious and irreverent personalities. And that's what I wanted to portray in this make-up.
I used red and black in gradient, adding a touch of light on the tear trough with white satin shadow, and to mark a little more the look, I made a small eyeliner from the tear trough to the middle of the eye. As I wanted the make-up to make my eyes look more slanted and the lines to be quite marked, I used masking tape to avoid it being crooked, and the truth is that I don't have a good pulse 😅
I don't currently have blush, so instead of blush, I used a mixture of orange and magenta eyeshadow to get the shade you see in the pictures.
For the lips, I lined the edges with black shadow and added a red lipstick with a lot of gloss on top.
I didn't really take pictures of the process because I was concentrating on getting it as perfect as possible. I was just experimenting and this was the result, I hope you liked it.

Hoy les quiero mostrar las fotografías de un maquillaje que hice hace poco. Se trata de un maquillaje en estilo glam rock.
La época dorada del glam rock transcurrió entre los años 70's y 80's. Los cantantes no sólo querían hacer una presentación musical en tarima, sino ofrecer la experiencia completa de escenografía, luces, maquillaje que representen sus personalidades divas, rebeldes e irreverentes. Y es eso lo que quise retratar en este maquillaje.
Usé el rojo y el negro en degradado, añadiéndole un toque de luz en el lagrimal con sombra blanca satinada, y para marcar un poco más la mirada, hice un pequeño delineado desde el lagrimal hasta la mitad del ojo. Como quería que el maquillaje hiciera ver mis ojos más rasgados y se viera bastante marcadas las líneas usé cinta adhesiva para evitar que quedara torcido, y es que la verdad yo no tengo un buen pulso 😅
Actualmente no tengo rubor, así que en vez de rubor, usé una mezcla de sombra de ojos naranja y magenta para llegar al tono que observan en las fotografías.
Para los labios, delinee los bordes con sombra negra y encima añadí un labial rojo con bastante brillo.
La verdad no tomé fotos del proceso porque estaba concentrada en que me quedara lo más perfecto posible. Estaba experimentando y este fue el resultado, espero que les haya gustado.
