I am back after a week of downs. This is my entry to

I like Vikings, the series. I think it drew attention back to history, even if the series is not 100% historically accurate. I love the cinematography and of course the makeup work. It was fun to transform my face into what I'd look like if I had been a viking, back then.
Me gusta Vikings, la serie. Creo que llamó la atención de nuevo a la historia, incluso si la serie no es 100% históricamente exacta. Amo la cinematografía y por supuesto el trabajo de maquillaje. Fue divertido transformar mi cara en lo que parecería si hubiera sido una vikinga, en ese entonces.
Process
I applied some corrector around my eyebrows and created the effect of the cut.
Apliqué corrector alrededor de las cejas y creé el efecto del corte.
A light shadow around the eyes followed by a darker brown to blur
Una sombra clara alrededor de los ojos seguida por un marrón más oscuro para difuminar.
I applied some foundation on the lips to give the opaque effect.
With some paint I did the forehead, the eyelids, the upper cheeckbone and right in the middle a mix of red and black paint I drew the scar.
Apliqué base en los labios para hacerlos lucir opacos. Con pintura trabajé la frente, los párpados, la parte alta de los pómulos y justo en el medio la cicatriz con un poco de negro y rojo.
More shadow under the eyes, highlight the lines, the effect of the wounds with some purpple shadow.
Más sombras bajo los ojos, luego resalté las lineas y el efecto de la herida con sombra morada.
I did not have any clothes that might look even close to anything the viking women wore, so I had to use photoshop for that part.
No tenía ninguna ropa que me hiciera lucir ni remotamente cerca a lo que usaban las vikingas de la época, así que tuve que recurrir a foto-shop para eso.
I guess I look like a defeated viking warrior.
