Perhaps some people may consider makeup as something simply banal and that is why they do not wear makeup. However, for me, makeup is really an art. That is why, I consider anyone who practices it, an artist. Makeup is not easy, as it seems. It requires a lot of practice to be able to do makeup with better techniques. In addition, makeup, like other sciences, evolves every day and new trends are coming; that is why you have to constantly being updated.
Quizás algunas personas puedan considerar el maquillaje como algo simplemente banal y que por eso no se maquillan. Pero para mí, realmente, el maquillaje es un arte. Es así que considero que cualquier persona que lo practique es un artista. El maquillaje no es nada fácil. Requiere de mucha práctica para poder lograr realizar maquillajes con técnicas más limpias. Además, el maquillaje, tal como otras ciencias, va evolucionando cada día y van entrando nuevas tendencias; es por ello que hay que irse actualizando constantemente.

I remember that in June 2016, I took a course of four classes in which the MUA gave us basic makeup techniques. This was my first formal time with makeup; however, on my own, I had already searched a bit about it. From then to the present time, trends have changed a lot and in fact, many of the things that we were explained there are simply no longer used, such as putting on eyebrows in bulk; nowadays it is fashionable to wear a little more disheveled eyebrows with a more natural touch.
Recuerdo que para junio del año 2016, tomé un curso de 4 clases en las que nos dieron técnicas básicas de maquillaje. Este fue mi primer encuentro formal con el maquillaje, sin embargo, por mí propia cuenta ya había indagado un poco sobre él. Desde ese entonces a la época actual, las tendencias han cambiado muchísimo y de hecho, muchas de las cosas que se explicaron allí, simplemente ya no se usan, como por ejemplo, maquillar las cejas en bloque; hoy en día está de moda llevar las cejas un poco más despeinadas con un toque más natural
The truth is that for me the ideal makeup on a woman is one that manages to highlight her natural attributes, stand her personality out, and make her feel more confident and beautiful. Whether it is a makeup that is used as a Cosplay or a costume, that makeup should denote the personality traits of that woman. Personally, I always try to use makeup to highlight my lips, cheekbones, and eyes since I consider them my natural attributes; Likewise, I try not only to hide imperfections like dark circles but also to make my face look more harmonious.
Lo cierto es que para mí el maquillaje ideal en una mujer es aquel que logre resaltar sus atributos naturales, resaltar su personalidad y hacerla sentir más segura y bella. Así sea un maquillaje que se utilice como Cosplay o disfraz, ese maquillaje debe denotar los rasgos de la personalidad de esa mujer. En mi caso, siempre trato que los maquillajes que realizo resalten mis labios, pómulos y ojos ya que considero que son mis atributos naturales; así mismo, trato de no sólo ocultar imperfecciones como ojeras sino también hacer que mi rostro se vea más armónico.
