Me emociona la idea de contarles un poco sobre mi vida como maquillista y cómo el maquillaje a influenciado en mi vida.

¿Qué significa el makeup para mi?

El maquillaje siempre lo he dicho, es algo que va más allá de la vanidad y la belleza, es una terapia de confianza, amor propio y de arte. Diversos estudios científicos entre ellos uno realizado por la Dra. Florencia Paniego demuestra que el maquillaje puede ser utilizado con capacidades terapéutica para reactivar la confianza de muchos pacientes con afecciones dermatológicas, además también se ha utilizado en pacientes oncológicos demostrándose que al ser maquilladas aumenta su nivel de confianza y se distraen un poco de ciertos problemas, por lo que reafirmo más de que va más allá de una practica de vanidad como muchos podrían afirmar.

El mundo de la belleza y maquillaje siempre estuvo presente en mi vida, es más, desde pequeñas cuando estamos jugando, haciendo travesuras y le quitamos el labial a mamá y hacemos un desastre divertido o cuando veía a mi madre maquillandose para ir al trabajo, le ponía la boquita de besito para que me la pintara, son cosas que una recuerda con mucho cariño. El primer set de maquillaje de Barbie nunca se olvida, y es que así vamos definiendo nuestra identidad y feminidad, claro esta que mi madre decía todo a su tiempo, nada de maquillajes muy fuertes porque tu piel no esta madura. Luego al ir creciendo te das cuenta que los intereses varía y te vas convirtiendo en mujer cumples tus quince años te maquillan te arreglan para tu reunión y te regalan tu primer set de maquillaje de "adulta" con sombras, base, labial y rubor, justo en ese momento tienes ganas de comerte el mundo y te sientes la mujer más grande y segura de ti misma.

Cumples 18 años, eres adulta con todas las de la ley, ya puedes maquillarte libremente con cualquier producto ya que es tu responsabilidad, son palabras de mi madre jeje, y mi pasión por el maquillaje aumenta más con los años, siempre estuve influenciada viendo programas en más chick, en E sobre estrellas del maquillaje, modelos y yo decía que era algo que quería estudiar seriamente.

Así en el año 2016 llegó a mi vida mi primera experiencia con un curso de automaquillaje con la alcaldía de Sucre en Caracas, donde aprendí diversas técnicas para auto conocer mi rostro y saber que tonos le van bien. Fue una experiencia sumamente enriquecedora ya que hasta entonces mis conocimientos eran bastantes básicos ( un poquito de sombra, rubor, brillo y listo), luego un año después en el 2017 decidí trabajar duro y ahorrar una platica para entrar en la Escuela Nacional de Maquillaje ABC con Ender Torres, un famoso maquillista de la Casa Miss Venezuela que en lo particular es un profesor excelente, exigente y maravilloso, debo resaltar que me costó mucho terminar el curso por lo elevado de algunos materiales y también por lo difícil y exigente del profesor, confieso que me llevo a reparación con pieles de tonalidades oscuras, la ciencia de maquillar a una mujer morena es gigante, me quito el sombrero a quienes son impecables en materia.

Desde entonces supe que esta es una de mis grandes pasiones, de hecho mi meta es algún día estudiar caracterización y maquillaje artístico que es mi favorito, aquellos que combinan ciencia ficción y belleza.

En lo personal soy de las que piensa que la belleza viene de adentro a fuera y verse bien es también parte de sentirse bien y gozar buena salud, por lo que las invito a explorar su cuerpo y rostro, arriesgarse con nuevos colores y tendencias y a jamás tener miedo de sus capacidades.

Es tiempo de brillar y empoderarse mujeres.

What does makeup mean to me?

I have always said makeup, it is something that goes beyond vanity and beauty, it is a therapy of confidence, self-love and art. The world of beauty and makeup was always present in my life, it is more since I was little when we are playing and doing mischief and we remove the lipstick from mother and we make a funny mess or when I saw my mother putting on makeup to go to work , I put her mouth with a little kiss so that she could paint it for me, these are things that one remembers fondly, the first set of barbie makeup is never forgotten and that is how we define our identity and femininity, of course my mother said everything in time, no very strong makeup because your skin is not mature. Later, as you grow older, you realize that interests vary and you become a woman, you turn fifteen, they make up for you, they fix you up for your meeting and they give you your first set of "adult" makeup with shadows, base, lipstick and blush, just at that moment you want to eat the world and you feel like the biggest and most confident woman of yourself.

Since then I knew that this is one of my great passions, in fact my goal is one day to study characterization and artistic makeup, which is my favorite, those that combine science fiction and beauty.

Personally, I am one of those who thinks that beauty comes from the inside out and looking good is also part of feeling good and enjoying good health, so I invite you to explore your body and face, take risks with new colors and trends will no longer be afraid of your abilities.
