When we refer to orgasms, it almost always has two completely different meanings. And yes, I am talking about sex toys. Created by feminist groups in the early 70's of the last century, they have meant an important relief to the sexual needs of billions of women all over the world. Cuando nos referimos a orgasmos, casi siempre tiene dos significados completamente distintos. Esto es una realidad tan insoslayable, que es la razón número uno, para uno de los negocios más exitosos en la historia de la humanidad; y más aún en el capitalismo moderno. Y sí, me refiero al de los juguetes sexuales. Creados por grupos feministas en los primeros años de la década del 70's del siglo pasado, han significado un alivio importante a las necesidades sexuales de miles de millones de mujeres en todo el mundo. Eficientes, higiénicos, sin riesgos significativos para la salud y asequibles, han brindando más luces en cuanto a la mecánica que hay detrás de los orgasmos femeninos, que siglos de historia y "diagnósticos" médicos hechos por hombres.
