¿Qué es ser mujer? Esta es una pregunta que no me había planteado hasta ahora. He estado pensando en una respuesta que vaya más allá de lo que nos diferente de los hombres.
Lo primero que me llega al pensamiento es que la mujer representa la vida, el sostén, el crecimiento y en definitiva el amor.
What is it to be a woman? This is a question I have not asked myself until now. I have been thinking about an answer that goes beyond what makes us different from men.
The first thing that comes to my mind is that woman represents life, support, growth and ultimately love.
Esta pregunta, me lleva a pensar en las mujeres a las que admiro y en el por qué las admiro, primero hablaré de mi como mujer, admiro mi inteligencia, perseverancia, capacidad para hacer frente a cualquier situación con optimismo y enfoque; mi tendencia a profundizar en el por qué de las cosas, en auto indagar en mis propios pensamientos y sentimientos y por último en el amor que siento por la gente y en la naturalidad con la que surgen mis cualidades maternales, aunque aún no sea madre.
This question leads me to think about the women I admire and why I admire them, first I will talk about me as a woman, I admire my intelligence, perseverance, ability to face any situation with optimism and focus; my tendency to delve into the why of things, in self-inquiry into my own thoughts and feelings and finally in the love I feel for people and the naturalness with which my maternal qualities emerge, although I am not yet a mother.
Luego me llega a la mente, mi madre, el solo hecho de pensar en ella, me genera un sentimiento de amor inmenso. La admiro mucho por ser tan fuerte, por haber criado a 3 hijos pequeños con escasa ayuda y recursos, por seguir apoyándonos, haciéndonos sentir seguros solo por el hecho de saber, que su amor siempre está ahí incondicionalmente. Por su sabiduría, su creatividad y tendencia natural de ayudar a todo el que lo necesite.
Then it comes to my mind, my mother, just thinking about her, generates in me a feeling of immense love. I admire her so much for being so strong, for having raised 3 small children with little help and resources, for continuing to support us, making us feel safe just knowing that her love is always there unconditionally. For her wisdom, her creativity and natural tendency to help anyone in need.
Pensar en la mujer, me lleva a considerar lo grande que es ser humano, creo que la mujer es capaz de expresar todas las cualidades y majestuosidades de la capacidad humana y que es el núcleo y sostén de la sociedad. Nuestro papel es muy importante en el crear un mundo mejor a través de una influencia positiva, respetuosa y amorosa.
Thinking about women leads me to consider how great it is to be human, I believe that women are capable of expressing all the qualities and majesty of human capacity and that they are the core and support of society. Our role is very important in creating a better world through a positive, respectful and loving influence.
Ahora mismo, hay un gran movimiento sobre la lucha por el reconocimiento de la mujer en muchos aspectos y contextos. Desde mi punto de vista y respetando el de los demás, considero que es fundamental el reconocimiento propio, aceptarnos, amarnos, respectarnos a nosotras mismas, cuestionar las creencias que nos limitan y que vienen de generación tras generación, permitirnos ser y hacer lo que deseamos. Y desde nuestra inmensa capacidad de amar y de ejercer el rol de madres (aquellas que deseen serlo o que ya lo sean) contribuir en una crianza respetuosa, equilibrada y sana para que no exista el machismo, pero tampoco el feminismo, solo humanos con valores, humanos más consciente y felices.
Right now, there is a great movement about the struggle for the recognition of women in many aspects and contexts. From my point of view and respecting that of others, I believe that it is essential to recognize ourselves, accept ourselves, love ourselves, respect ourselves, question the beliefs that limit us and that come from generation after generation, allow us to be and do what we want. And from our immense capacity to love and to exercise the role of mothers (those who wish to be or already are) contribute to a respectful, balanced and healthy upbringing so that there is no machismo, but neither feminism, only humans with values, more conscious and happy humans.
En definitiva, amo, admiro, venero y me inclino ante la grandeza de las mujeres.
In short, I love, admire, revere and bow down to the greatness of women.
