Hello to all! When visiting historic cities, I do not miss the opportunity to see ancient architecture. There is a unique historical place in the ancient Belarusian city of Bobruisk. This place is famous for its ancient abandoned fortress, which was built by the famous architect and participant in the Napoleonic Wars. I present to your attention the Bobruisk Fortress.
The fortress consists of several buildings. The fact is that when the threat of an attack by Napoleonic troops appeared in Russian Spain, it was decided to strengthen the state lines. During the construction of the Boboruisk fortress, it was assumed that the city would be completely destroyed, and the fortress and the surrounding areas would survive.
Please note that these buildings are over 200 years old and have survived several wars. Therefore, their condition is so bad. The Bobruisk fortress consisted of several buildings. Each of the parts of the fortification had its own strategic purpose and function.
Currently, these outbuildings are historical values. But at the same time, visiting buildings is dangerous for health. The fact is that no one was involved in the restoration of the Bobruisk fortress. For more than two hundred years of history, these buildings have fallen into disrepair. They survived the war with Napoleon, the First and Second world wars.
The bars on the windows of the Bobruisk Fortress are located for a reason. Buildings are gradually deteriorating, but this does not stop curious teenagers and marginalized people. They do not pose a danger to buildings, but the building is a danger to them. I looked into some of the rooms that were available.
For security reasons, these buildings were walled up not only with iron bars, but also with barbed wire. Looks like a prison. ...

Surprisingly, the Bobruisk fortress is one of the places that influenced the course of the war with Napoleon. In addition, this place survived the First and Second World Wars. In those days, buildings were used as strategic sites. However, time is merciless to everything, including architecture. Nowadays, the Bobruisk fortress is an architectural monument, but it is difficult to be proud of abandoned buildings.
Most likely this place will never be rebuilt. However, despite everything, the Bobruisk fortress is a historical value of Belarus. This is not the most disagreeable place, but it was the center of the old city and deserves attention.
