One thing I enjoyed while visiting Patan Durbar Square was walking along the narrow alleys. The courtyard of the square itself is very crowded with people these days. You will get to taste the enchanting atmosphere when you walk along these narrow alleys. There are many old houses along the alleys that have been perfectly preserved since it was built in the ancient times. Some had been re-built after the devastating earthquake in 2015. But the vibe is same: you will feel as if you are walking along centuries old houses and road. Every houses around this area are built with red bricks. The number of tourists around this areas is very high and many people have their turned home into restaurants, hotels, spas and so on with the view of doing business and earning money. So it is common to find these places while walking along the alley. When you come to the main Street after walking along this narrow street, you will often encounter a temple or other monuments. While I finished walking along the alley as in the first picture, I saw this shikhara style building in the main Street.
