Today I would like to share an abandoned building on the outskirts of the city of Copenhagen. I have been eyeing this industrial zone for a very long time and a very strange tall building with boarded up windows. The territory overgrown with grass and trees, dirt on the windows and around is a clear example of the fact that the building has not been used for a long time and is completely abandoned. None of us had any idea what was inside. Around the building lined up and fenced tenants who have nothing to do with the abandoned building. After a few weeks, we decided to get there at any cost.
First we tried to climb the outside stairs to the roof. But alas, there were no loopholes there. Going downstairs, we examined the extension. But even there we couldn't get into the building. As a result, armed with a rope ladder lowered from the roof, we went inside through the open window.
We found ourselves on the stairs and immediately went down to the ground floor to start exploring the building from the very beginning.
Nothing interesting was found on the lower floors - all the rooms were empty. But when they climbed a little higher, they immediately took out cameras. Several large halls with metal bins, most likely for concrete and weight control devices. It became clear that this structure was somehow connected with the production of concrete products.
All equipment was covered with thick layers of dust. The wiring is cut, and the metal structures are rusted. Apparently, this place is the only thing left of a full-fledged factory. It's just strange why it was not demolished along with the rest.
Each floor has its own production site. Here, the components necessary for the production of concrete were received, the material corresponding to the standards for the production of concrete was supplied and mixed.
As you can see, the equipment has not been used for a very long time. For us, this is just a photograph of an abandoned place, and it is difficult to understand the exact purpose of this building. Presumably - this is a concrete mixing plant.
We managed to find out when we found the most interesting room here. Previously, there were operators who controlled the entire production process. On the table covered with dust, you can see the remaining belongings of the working staff. It becomes clear that here, during breaks during work, they liked to play cards and drink tea.
It can be seen that the main components of the operators' premises are perfectly preserved. The premises of the building have been fully inspected, and we are heading to the overpass of the belt conveyor, with the help of which the material for the manufacture of concrete was supplied to the concrete mixing plant.
It's time to go. Another mystery of the old inconspicuous building was reflected in the memory cards of our cameras. It was our first time in such an object and we were very impressed with what we saw. To this day, it remains abandoned and is not used for its intended purpose.
