Hi! It has surely been a long while since my last post here. My apologies for my long absent. Many things happened, BIG things actually. As big is it is, of course I will share with you guys about it. Sooo, few days ago I had a plan of meeting a friend who came to the city for an event in a hotel in central Surabaya. While waiting for her, my husband and I planned to wait someplace else to work and read. I searched on google maps and found this gem! My kind of comfort zone, antique, historical, vast outdoor space, not too crowded, hence a perfect atmosphere to work and read. After scrolling through Instagram and searching on Google Maps, we.. found.. one.♥️

Before sharing some pictures with you, I have to apologize for the quality of the photos I took. I used my camera phone and having none photography training, these were my best attempts. Everything I do here is basically a hobby of mine in ✨Urban Exploration✨, taking pictures for memories, and my husband's tireless support which motivates me to write more often. And this platform is THE PERFECT place to practice.♥️ My husband writes regularly here and his writings just get better in no time! Go check it out here.

I managed to click some pictures so you'll have a clear image of it. Here's how it looks on the front.
As you can see, this place consist of two buildings side by side. The left one looks like a house with high ceiling, typical Dutch-era buildings look like this around the country. Besides the rough looks on the outside part, this building is still fully intact, even the roof is in a good condition. This building on the left is used for indoor restaurant.
Meanwhile, up above is the photo of the building on the right side. It has no roof, and most of the walls layer has already teared off. They placed some benches around the building. And hey, I spot my husband sitting there with his laptop in the blue t-shirt!😍
So basically, the management of this place rents the spaces for some vendors--it has coffee, steak, some snacks, also traditional Indonesian food vendors. So besides the convenient space, they also offer variant foods and beverages. Yumm!🍽
One other thing which I like, and I want to highlight here, is that this place provide fun games and activities for the visitor to use FOR FREE. I managed to click one picture above which shows a group of youngsters playing darts. Also two children playing Indonesian traditional game, which I used to play with when I was younger which is called "bakiak". Gosh, it brings back a lot of memories! Unfortunately they were too small to be used by adults, if not then no one could have stopped me to grab those.🤣
Ooops, almost forgot! One important thing for Indonesian is the availability of parking space for cars and motorbikes. Don't sweat it, this place has a vast one for both in the back area, with good security. Good good!
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨OKAY, it's REVIEW time!✨✨✨✨✨✨ ✨
For the place and the ambience, I give:
09/10
Unfortunately we did not order their main dish, we did order their traditional snacks, and they were TASTYYY, so I give :
09/10
My husband ordered Iced Caramel Macchiato from "Simply Moore" Coffeeshop and it was also great, so he gives:
09/10
As a newly established hang out place, I think the service still needs improvement, so I give:'
08/10
