I would like to tell you about one place that I managed to visit - an abandoned military unit in Kazakhstan, the city of Aktobe. Now there are active units, and there are abandoned ones, and one of them will be discussed.
Previously, the 31st Tank Regiment was based here. Now it is no longer very noticeable, since its territory has been given over to the private sector for development.
Some objects of the former military unit were given to private owners. I don't know if it's for rent or sold, it doesn't matter. But there are also those who stand idle.
This is a former hostel. This huge extension used to house the cars of the tenants. The hostel is now completely abandoned. But here's what's interesting, he made a roof.
By the way, this is a great place for urban photo shoots!! Checked.
If on one side the doors and windows are locked, then on the other side the entrance is open.
All windows in the building are boarded up. But not all the boards survived, in some places the windows are open.
We go to the former hostel.
Some passages inside are walled up.
But you can enter from another way.
There is nothing inside at all. Everything was taken apart and removed. Only walls and broken wires.
And this is a walled passage from the back.
These wires have been out of power for a long time. There used to be a shower here. There were tiles left on the walls.
Everything has been ownerless for so long that birch trees grow on the visor.
There are other buildings as well. This one, for example, also looks abandoned, but fenced off. The photo below is the former dining room.
This is a former boiler room.
Not all buildings are running. Some are quite successfully used by private traders. For example, like this building of a former vegetable store.
This is all that I could see in the military part of the building. I hope you enjoyed my review
