This is a house that I have explored before but when I did I made a Cardinal exploring sin. I brushed it of as a small decaying house with nothing of big interest. This time around I got a good reminder of why not to do that, ever!
The house has a history dating back to the 1800s and public records of who lived in it are very limited. What wasn't limited was a small crawl space that I crawled into and found very old goalie pads and boxes full of trophies. When I looked up the name that is on all of the trophies, it turns out a semi professional hockey player was the last owner. He played in the minor leagues and in the NHL on and off from the late 1970s to early 1980s, then retired in this quaint house until he passed away in 2014.
The house has sat abandoned since, awaiting demolition for new development.
