As the Spring Festival gets closer, I want to stock up on some New Year goods. After thinking it over, I still choose to go to the supermarket. When I was a child, New Year meant new clothes, candies, melon seeds, and peanuts. These classics are still here today, but the choices are much richer now—pistachios, pine nuts, pecans, cashews, and all kinds of snack gift boxes. Just browsing is fun.
I don’t really like carrying heavy bags, especially in thick winter clothes. Still, I enjoy walking through the aisles, comparing products, and choosing at my own pace. The process of shopping itself is part of the New Year experience.
