The pisco punch in my last post reminds me of the great time spent with friends in northern California. On that beautiful spring day in early May of 2014, we visited Domaine Carneros, an iconic California wine country estate surrounded by vineyards.
This domaine spans the southern ends of Napa Valley and Sonoma county. The elegant landmark building was inspired by the classic 18th century Château de la Marquetterie in Champagne, France.
After touring the grand château, we savored some fine sparkling wines and tapas on its outdoor terrace. Look at the amazing views of the rolling hills covered by verdant vineyards!
上篇提到来自加州的皮斯科潘趣酒，我又想起了在加州度过的美好时光。八年多前一个风和日丽的晚春周末，我跟旧金山的朋友们一起自驾去纳帕谷游玩，参观了卡内罗斯酒庄(Domaine Carneros)。
这个大酒庄在旧金山北边一个多小时车程处，横跨有名的纳帕谷和索诺玛县南端。优雅的标志性城堡建筑的灵感来自于法国香槟区的18世纪侯爵酒庄。
看了城堡内部之后，我们又在宽敞的户外露台上品尝了三种气泡酒和几碟小吃。阳光温暖和煦，周边和缓起伏的山丘上覆着一片片青翠的葡萄园，一边欣赏着这无边胜景，一边和志趣相投的朋友们聊天说笑，真是良辰美酒好春光！
