Unless you’ve been completely disconnected, you’ve probably noticed that Hive is focusing on building bridges rather than competing in isolation.
One of the best examples of this is the collaboration between LEO and Dash, showcasing how partnerships can strengthen the ecosystem instead of dividing it.
Now, I’ll admit—this might sound like I’ve been living under a rock.
I used to stay on top of everything happening in the Hive ecosystem, but let’s be real—keeping up with all the drama and tech developments isn’t exactly putting food on the table. And since Hive isn’t designed for explosive pumps, my focus naturally shifts toward work more often than not. So, if I sound like a noob, bear with me…
We’re all familiar with wrapped tokens.
But what if we actively incentivized people to bridge assets onto Hive and use them here?
For instance, why not enable on-chain trading that is both fast and free, directly within the Hive ecosystem?
Imagine having seamless trading for:
Wrapped Bitcoin
Wrapped Ethereum
Wrapped DAI
Wrapped USDC
Wrapped USDT
Wrapped Dash
And any other useful asset…
Now, let’s take it a step further. We should encourage liquidity bonding here, within our ecosystem. A portion of Hive’s inflation could be allocated toward this, with the highest incentives going to Hive pairs.
Hive/Bitcoin
Hive/Ethereum
Hive/Stablecoins
HBD/Stablecoins
HBD/Bitcoin
HBD/Ethereum
And so much more…
Just picture being able to trade HBD against other stablecoins seamlessly.
Think about the massive trading volume from all the arbitrage opportunities that would arise.
Of course, to prevent market-making bots from extracting all the profit, a small transaction fee could be implemented. But here’s the game-changer: that fee could be used to buy Hive and permanently lock it in an account that can never power down.
Some might ask, “Why waste Hive like that?”
But at this stage, the total supply of Hive isn’t nearly as important as its price stability and overall market demand.
This kind of system would not only bring more users into the ecosystem but also create sustainable value and strengthen Hive’s presence in the broader crypto world. It’s time to think big, build smart, and create incentives that fuel long-term growth
