When you are in Melbourne, there is one place is a must visit - Philip Island. Around 2 hours drive from Melbourne CBD, it is literally a small island were you can see penguins. A popular tourist destination, the island is most visited when the penguins come home each day. I’ve been to Phillip Island before when I was still in primary school but this is the first visit for our friends, hubby and the kids. Prepare for a day trip and get home late to ensure you have the full Phillip Island experience.
去墨爾本旅行就一定要去企鵝島. 裡墨爾本市中心開車大概兩小時這個小島最受歡迎的景點就是看企鵝. 每一日太陽落山的時候企鵝慢慢從大海回家而這個時候就是最佳時間看企鵝. 我小學的時候來過一次看企鵝而今次是我們朋友，我老公同兩個小朋友第一次看. 看企鵝到這個行程需要一日時間所以安排行程要注意這一點.
The only way now to visit is to prebook your tickets weeks ahead of your visit. If you don’t pre-book, there is no way you can go in as there are only limited seats available each evening. There are times it may rain but the event will still continue to go prepared. The weather at the Island is ALWAYS cold regardless winter or summer so remember to rug up because you will be there before the sun sets all the way to late into the night. As we drove up to the carpark, there was already a long queue just waiting to go inside to park. There are plenty of signs to warn those without a ticket to turn back as the venue is fully booked.
去看企鵝一定要預早上網訂門票否則就不可以入場. 如果沒有定門票去到停車場門口都會叫你返轉頭因為每天的名額是有限的. 因為要預早訂的關係有時候會不知道天氣會怎麼樣所以要看當天的運氣希望沒有下雨.看企鵝的時候大多數都是日落時段天氣會比較涼所以一定要帶夠衣服. 我們去的時候是夏天但我們要穿冬天的衣服和大衣因為這個島的位置沒有太陽是非常冷的.
We are extremely lucky that day as the sky was clear just freezing cold in the middle of summer. First thing to do is to go to the toilet as there are no toilets out in the open. We first past the gift stores, some displays and the ticket booths. Everyone was eager to get into find the best spot possible. It is free seating so its first in best dressed. The sun is setting and everyone is eager to see these little cuties come home. 
我們幸運當天去看企鵝天氣非常之好，雖然是冷一點但沒有下雨已經好幸運.拍完車第一時間就要去洗手間因為去看企鵝的地方是在海邊沒有地方可以去.進場之前可以看見一些商店，一些介紹企鵝的資料等等但大多數人去完洗手間就立刻進場因為座位有限大家都想找到一個好位置看企鵝回家.太陽開始落山大家都非常期待企鵝的出現.
Unfortunately, we are not allowed to take any photos during the time penguin comes in as they will scare them as well as damage their eyes. Videos and photos are prohibited and the rangers are always on the lookout to warn people. While we were waiting for the penguins, the rangers gave us an overview on penguins, their habits etc. Below are the last pictures I could take until they told us to put everything away - they were very strict. By 6.30pm or so, the penguins started to roll in. OMG they were so cute and the kids had a blast. We stayed till 9.30pm or so and headed back to Melbourne. We got home around midnight and bought supper on the way. It was bit disappointing we can’t take any photos or videos so you really have to be there to experience the exciting from everyone. If you visit Melbourne, make sure a visit to Phillip Island is on the itinerary.
因為場地限制他們不讓在場人拍照和做視頻所以以下這幾張照片已經是當天最後拍的.大概晚上6:30 左右第一隻企鵝終於開始慢慢走上岸慢慢走路回家. 工作人員提醒大家不可以大聲說話否則會令企鵝害怕. 看企鵝大概都 9:3 0就離開因為要用兩個多小時的車程回到墨爾本市中心. 到家的時候已經差不多晚上12點，大家到這個時候已經非常之累. 今次看企鵝非常開心雖然不可以拍照和做視頻但看見這麼可愛的小企鵝已經值回票價. 如果你到墨爾本旅行記住把企鵝島倒到你的行程裏面，一定不會讓你失望.
