Each night beneath open sky, Silas turns his right palm upward — the butterfly birthmark catching starlight — and lets his feet carry him where Desna wills. He does not choose his steps; he surrenders them. When the dance stills of its own accord, he stands in whatever position chance has left him, reading the pattern of his own footfalls like a map of what is coming. On clouded nights, he closes his eyes and sings the stars by name until he can see them anyway.
Benefit: +1 luck bonus on initiative checks; +4 sacred bonus on Perception checks to detect opponents before a surprise round.
Arrival
The last light is gone by the time Silas reaches the ferry landing, the river black and wide before him and the lights of Falcon's Hollow winking on the far bank. He rolls his right shoulder, still stiff from the pack, and turns his palm up out of habit as the first sprinkling of stars begins to appear — the butterfly catching what little moonlight there is. Somewhere across the water, someone is laughing. Somewhere across the water, something brought him here. He calls out for the ferryman.
