"Star Festival-Tanabata"
July the 7th is the Star Festival called Tanabata in Japan. Actually, my hometown celebrates it on August the 7th. I think areas which celebrate on July the 7th were following the original Chinese calendar. People wish their hope and write them down on rectangle-shaped paper called Tanzaku, and hang them on bamboo trees. I do this Tanzaku wishing in Nova Scotia, Canada every July the 7th. I have bamboo-looking trees in my yard so,I hang Tanzaku paper on them. I hope my wish comes true!
