As a token of my appreciation for the mail art I received from a German yesterday, I also made a mail art. Image above. I collaged black-and-white printed photos and diagrams with colored pencils, but I thought something was missing, so I applied masking tape with patterns. It looks a little cute, but I wonder if he behaved too well. I was worried that a collage of paper like a small piece might come off. I may have worried too much.
The completed mail art is the size of a postcard, so I sent it as an airmail postcard for 70 yen. By the way, a postcard in Japan costs as much as 63 yen. The difference is only 7 yen.
I'm still a beginner at email art, but I'll enjoy it. Of course, I will continue to draw abstract pictures of mixed media.

昨日ドイツの人から頂いたメールアートのお礼として、私もメールアートを作りました。上の画像です。白黒の印刷写真とか図表とかを色鉛筆で着色してコラージュしたのですが、何か足りないなと思って柄入りのマスキングテープを貼りました。ちょっと可愛い感じになりましたがお行儀が良すぎたでしょうか。小さい切れ端みたいな紙のコラージュだとはがれるんじゃないかと心配で。ちょっと心配しすぎたかもしれません。
出来上がったメールアートはハガキ大なので、航空便ハガキとして70円で送りました。ちなみに日本国内のハガキは63円もかかるのです。わずか7円の差です。
メールアートはまだまだ初心者ですが、楽しくやろうと思います。もちろんミクストメディアの抽象画もバリバリ描き続けますよ。
